You've got to think about the kid though, at that age they aren't old enough to understand what's going on. What if at the door the kid had started crying? the dad probably would have jumped anyway, scaring the hell out of the kid. I could understand jumping with a kid at least 10 years or older, but 2 years old is a bit young to be doing this. My 11 year old nephew wants to jump, if his father would let and if the DZ allowed, I would love to pay for a tandem ride for him. Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

I am also a scuba diver. If we are out of the anti fog creme that you put in your masks, you can always spit in your goggles, rub it around, then clean em off. it works wonders. My suggestion though is to find a SCUBA shop around and buy some of the anti-fog creme. Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

At my DZ, Perris, there are tents out there all the time. There are shower facilities, laundry, and they have no problems with RV's in the parking lot. Our camping area is by the skydiving schools. Only about 50 feet or so from the "bombshelter" (bar and restaurant). I haven't heard of any problems out there, and when I go I always see the same tents out there, all the time. There is no fee to camp either. P.S. There is a bunkhouse out here also, not the greatest condition, but it is a bunkhouse. Blue Skies! Whats your Name and what do you do for a living?
sinister69 replied to Viking's topic in The Bonfire
my name is Nelson and I am an instructor at a computer school. I teach the A+ class (computer repair). I also contract out to another company in Irvine and get paid good bucks for it, that's where my skydiving money comes from. Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1 -
My theory on the last number is: it counts for beer anything. bought, consumed, owed, whatever. And congrats on the level 2. Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

My sister has a good one. she is a flight attendant. Her plate says "I FLYY". The other good thing about is that she had a license plate frame that says "Faster than a speeding ticket" Put em together and you get "I FLYY Faster than a speeding ticket" That was on her 1991 Toyota MR2. I bought the car from her but she kept the plate to put on her new car. I did get to keep the frame though. Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

Man, I am sooo jealous right now. Went to the dz on friday and sunday this weekend to support Michele and Kimmer. They both did great and got 2 jumps in each. ?:2:? I know zclubber did his level 1 on Saturday, he showed up Sunday to do level 2, don't know if he did. When I left students were still on wind delay. Did you jump zclubber? if not, you are ?:1:?, if so ?:2:?. Nice meeting you dude, finish those levels so we can all jump together. That is why I am so jealous, I am 0:0:0 for the weekend. No money to jump. boo hoo. Well, getting nice big paycheck at the end of the month. Gonna put money down on the Demo program at SquareOne. Won't have to worry about paying 65 a day for a rig, will be able to just walk in, get a rig, and just pay for my jump tickets. Am just 3 jumps away from my A license. I need one of em to be a RW jump, I need 3 accuracy landings within 25 meters of target center. I also need to do a packing class so I can get my A license and stop wasting good jump money on a packer!! Just wanted to let everyone know how jealous I am of them. Cya all out at the dz next weekend!!! Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

Isn't it so much better when you just relax and enjoy the fall? Don't worry about the spins, you know how to control it now. Like Stewie (her JM) said, be a little more aggressive in your turns, don't be timid. Once you start doing that you are going to be amazed at the amount of control you have. You can start and stop a turn exactly when and where you want. Good job!! And it was a great landing. Can't be out there on Friday, but am hoping to be out there Saturday. Gonna join the Demo program real soon so I don't have to pay 65 a day for the rig. That eats away at jump money. Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

yeah rhonda, they recently changed it. That's exactly what they want from you. Once you've done it you know how to get out of it. Helped me tremendously after I graduated. Was doing some backflips and stuff, ended up on my back, arched harder and went straight to my belly. it's great! Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

I told you you would like this level. Level 6 is great. It shows how much control you have out there. That uncontrolled exit is easy to get out of, isn't it. Just do that hard arch like I said and you go right over onto your belly. You're going to love the next 2 levels also. They will be your first controlled solo exits. You will feel so free without your instructors hanging onto during exit. Next time believe me when I tell you that the exit is easy. You didn't believe me on 5, and you loved it. Same with 6. I wouldn't steer you wrong girl. I've been there. Had the same worries as you. I got through them, I know you can too!! Good job Michele. P.S. I might have to go to Irvine on Tuesday, so I will be coming from the 5 freeway. That might make me a little late because of traffic, but I will be there. Keep dinner warm for me. Blue Skies! I also saw this movie yesterday when it came out. I agree with you Mac. Left me speechless. Animation was incredible, everything looked real, movement of the people, facial expressions, texture and movement of the clothing. Totally awesome. As for the plot, I loved it. How can you say the plot was absent Doasfu? If you paid attention to it, you would have seen there was a natural progression to it. They explained the appearance of the aliens very well, though you had to wait till almost the end for the explanation. I thought it was a well thought out plot. Very good movie!!! Two big Skydiving thumbs up!!!!!! Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

Hey Kimmer, Welcome to the DropZone If you are going out to Perris today, I will probably see you out there again. You probably don't remember me, I was there for Michele's level 4 AFF jump. Was just completing my level 7 and 8. Hope to see you again and keep jumping. Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1

You gotta remember though, Icarus was told not to fly too close to the sun. It was all his fault, not his gear. Blue Skies! Sinister69 http://home.pacbell.net/n1elson1
