  1. Hi there, Wow.... 1000 jumps...... whew, i got a long ways to go. But, i dont plan on just getting jumps to become an instructor. I'm just gonna enjoy the sport, and hopefully i will soon have enough jumps up my sleeve to do what i want to do, lol. I jump at Able Tasman Skydive ( www.skydive.co.nz ) in Motueka. The pplz there are really cool and have offered for me to go and work there! Like, work experience. Thanks heaps for all your reply's guys!!! Luv, Mel I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me....so Bring it on!!!!!!
  2. ok, as most of you know, i am still young, but i really want to work towards eventually becoming a Tandem Instructor! I'm not sure what I have to do to qualify for that... what kinda course i have to take. Would I be better off with doing the AFF course, or finding something else? Is there something else? I hope i have made myself clear, lol? Thanks heaps, God Bless, Mel P.S. I live in NZ, so we might not have the resources you guys have, lol. 3. Thanks a heap for all your support guys!!! Its really neat to know there are others out there who went/are going through this!!! And still have time to encourage me! I will definitely talk to them about work in exchange for other 'stuff'!!! Thanks heaps! God bless, Melanie I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me....so Bring it on!!!!!!
  4. Hiya guys!!!! I was hoping that someone out there could give me a helpful idea, and maybe some encouragment. I am at a bit of a dead end... I really want to do the AFF program, but dont have any idea on how to raise that kind of money!!! Do any of you wish to share how you managed to raise that money, and perhaps try to encourage me... I'm beginning to lose faith, lol. Most of you will say: "Get off your rear end and get a job..." But.... I'm still in school, and wont be finishing till the end of the year. I am, however, homeschooled, so any ideas outside of a full time job would be more than welcome! Thanks a heap guys! God bless, Melanie I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me....so Bring it on!!!!!!

I am saving up to do the course which will make me a solo jumper!!!!!!!!! But, I must wait until I am 16 for that! :( So close, but yet so far........ *sigh* But hey, I will always remember the first jump, and nothing will compare to the buzz i still get!!!!!!!! Its my dream to become an SkyDive instructor, and nothing will stop me!!!!! Yesterday I went into the SkyDive place, and they said i was welcome to come anytime i liked and help them and learn all about it!!!! That is soooo awesome!!!! Catcha later!
