2 tablespoons is WAY out for a daily amount. If you're producing 2 tablespoons - you've missed your calling - which would be drowning pornstars. Work on one teaspoon. (Thats 10 ml for non US residents. Like we know what the fuck an oz is!) It's the year of the Pig.

Really? You think there are no cowards among those who have volunteered? What they see in the movies, what their recruiter said and what happens in real life are WAY different. People get to know themselves and their friends real well, real quick under fire - and being drafted is no garentee of cowardice or bravery. t It's the year of the Pig.

In SA you'll require a PRO rating. (Demo jump licence) Reasoning is you will land someplace downwind from takeoff - any you don't know where that will be. t It's the year of the Pig.

I did exactly the same thing. The low batt warning went off on 20 Jan 2003, I did 336 skydives that year, all with a wailing flat batt tone at 1000ft. It scared some people - and I've been donated 6 sets of batteries from those who thought it was a cost issue. I replaced the batteries at the end of 2003, and have donated the others to people who are afraid of their low battery warning tone. The new ones have been through 250 plus dives so far this year with no problem. I'll replace every New Year in future. t It's the year of the Pig.

Really? Ever tried to grab your risers wearing a wing suit without zipping out of the suit / releasing the arms first? That story sounds like bullshit to me... t It's the year of the Pig.

Don't do it. Your thoughts of being able to cut away have obviously not gone far enough to realise you'd have your main canopy in tow attached to your hand - and that you risk entanglement with your reserve should you pull it, or the RSL releases it, or your AAD fires. You are also at risk of hand fractures. Don't do it. t It's the year of the Pig.

I did that for a while. 1 closing pin for each 1000 dives I had. Straight pin for the 1000 on pull-outs and curved one's for the rest.. but at 3000 - it started to jangle a bit - and another jumper started doing it for every 100 jumps - so I stopped when I saw 40 closing pins on a single pull-up in a riggers loft. It made me sick - like seeing 500 lbs of potato salad.. t It's the year of the Pig.

This was reported in TIME Magazine a few weeks back. I can't believe they were working for the US. Just a bunch of Walter Mitty wannabees doing their own thing. I have no doubt though, that they thought that the US/Rummy would think that their own thing was the right thing to do. t It's the year of the Pig.

Do CReW, and Tandem with borrowed gear, in Africa. 14 chops are CRW or Tandem related out of 1500 dives. The other 4 are from the remaining 2800 dives, 2 on borrowed gear, 2 on my own, that needed a reline really bad - but I could only afford to do it one line at a time - at the time. t It's the year of the Pig.
