I was in a DC3 at Zhills that lost an engine at 1500 ft over the DZ.There were 50 jumpers in it.The pilot announced over the intercom "You can either land with me or you get ONE pass across the DZ" All 50 of us did a strung out hopnpop from about 1200' It was routine to roll with anywhere from 40 to 50 jumpers in them.24 jumpers in lodestalls and 10-15 in twin beeches depending on the model and/or the "pucker factor" of the pilot Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004

    Just something to consider, but when a large aircraft is shot down by a missile,wreckage and bits and pieces are usually scattered about.That wouldnt be indicative of a single hole burrowed into the ground with the all the wreckage being compressed into that same hole.That's the most obvious sign,I wont even go into propellant residue,"foreign material" ie missile frags or frag patterns.If it was gunned instead,there would be cannon holes in the remaining parts.....20 or 30 mm holes would be pretty hard to hideSo I'm thinking a slip of the tongue,the physical evidence doesnt really support anything else Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004

You can sit around making up stories all day about what might have happened, but what DID happen is that a psycho with a gun killed five people (including himself) and a cop with a gun saved other people from getting killed.     A Buddhist perspective I'm not offendedBeing a non-Christian during Christmas is no big deal!I am secure in my faith,and my faith is very tolerant of other religions.If they want to put Christian symbols in stores,malls or on government property for the Holiday season it I take no offense from it,its not like it's a state sponsored religion or anything.People that do take offense from it need to look at themselves and their faiths very closely....because "tolerance" is a central theme for most of them.I love everything about Christmas,with the exception of installing and removing the strands of lights from the top of the house And yes,I do think a lot of people are being ridiculous while attempting to be "politically correct" Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004
