Has anyone else experienced a shift in how you think about and value "things" vs "memories"? If so, how did that shift change you and how you live your life? ***I started to notice changes in me after I have my kids. Ten years ago I would have a list already made up of things that I want for BDs & Christmas. After having kids....none of the material things really matters to me....I guess b/c my focus and priorities are different now that I have kids and comes with age....my attitude is now sorta like...I've been there, done that....you know what I mean. First, congratulations to the both of you. For honeymoon...i would suggestThe Ritz Carlton in Dana Point...it's romantic and the view is breath taking. John Wayne is a good choice for Orange County...you're not that far off of the two dropzones: Perris & Elsinore, only about 45 min. drive. Your other option is Ontario Aiport, this one is much closer to the two dropzones: Perris & Elsinore, about 25 min. drive. As a person we all have choices, you can choose to tell your parents the truth or lie. Sometimes the truth can hurt them, but what's worse is lying to them and have them find out in an appropriate situation. My mom have never liked/support/agreed to my decision to become a skydiver. I hid it from her at first...but after I signed up for the AFF, I told her the truth. I thought as parents...they don't always agreed/liked things that we do, however...if they love us, than they would support our decision. I'm a mother of two....I would really hope that my kids would share their decisions on whatever things they decide to do....I may not like it, but I will offer my support on their decisions. I'm stable in freefall and intiate turns ok, but I can't stop them. #3 What can I do to stop my turns? Are there common mistakes students make on these levels? #4 I live fairly close to a wind tunnel. Would this really help me? Should I spend time in the tunnel before I try to get through AFF 4. __________________________________________________ When I was going through AFF, I had to redo my L4 4 times....so don't feel bad. My biggest problems was spinning & kepping my headings. My instructors told me that once I've done a manuver I tend to de-arch and my legs were not semetrical...that's why I spun out of control. Just relax, enjoy the skydive...if you turn...be aggressive and counter the turn...do a feet tap. Those are the things that I worked on....don't have that problem anymore...solo dive does wonders! You know...love works in mysterious/funny ways...when we chase, they run...when you decide to let go, they'll come back. My heart have been broken a few times...so I know how it feels. Everyone is entitles to wish & dream, but to make a wish becomes reality....that's ones' will, take it to heart that at the end....you've done you're best in a given situation. Love is so unique for different people or at different times that nothing of general importance and description can be said about it.
