The company that I work for is picking up steam and is seeming like we actually might succeed. Last night we were at a party in New York showing our product to Richard Branson from Virgin, and I couldn't help jumping into at least one picture. They were launching a new wine called Virgin Vines. It's not bad...give it a try if you have the chance.

1. I had a last minute trip...leaving Thursday morning and coming back Saturday morning...San Francisco to Denver to Toronto, Orlando, and home. Got to the airport 7 am Saturday morning in Orlando and my brother and his family were sitting across fro me in the terminal. I had been needing to have a "reconnection" conversation with him for a while, so it really worked out. 2. In May, I changed a flight from New York to fly on JetBlue, which I never do. Got to the airport and a friend of mine (a girl whom I did her AFF) was standing in the terminal. Turns out she was on the same flight. We got on the airplane and figured out that we were in the same row sitting next to eachother. Strange stuff. -S _____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...

So, upon my recent return from Sweden, the subject of hot women came up... I think that percapita, there are an INSANE number of hot women in Sweden. As such, for the purposes of illustration, I threw out a percentage that I thought represented the number of hot women in the United States... Some have agreed with the number that I came up with and some have not. I won't tell you what my number was, but want to see what we come up with as a group... What do you suppose the percentage of "hot women" is in the United States? (No asking, "what's your definition of hot?"...just answer the damn question) -S PS - you will see that the voting is divided into men and women...this refers to your sex. (i.e. - if you are a woman and think that 20-30% of women in the US are "hot", answer "W 20%-30%") _____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...

So, I had the pleasure of riding with an Iraqi taxi driver to the airport in Stockholm this morning. Long story short, this is what he said... "We didn't like Hussein...but it's so much worse now...we just want to go back to how it was" "I used to get money from my parents for the past 5 years...now I have to send them money every month...they have nothing" "They have no money for food, they don't have clean water...it's horrible" I thought it was interesting to hear from his point of view...it was sad. Anyway, don't have too much to say about it...just thought I would share. -S _____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...

I thought it was going to say something like "could have been worse...say, if it had hit a city that didn't need a face-lift in the first place". So, I am sitting in the American Airlines Club in San Francisco, and who is sitting across from me, Tony Bennett. I couldn't pass it up, so I walked over and said I just had to shake his hand. He obliged rather enthusiastically, so I asked if he would mind giving an autograph. By the time I got back with a piece of paper and a pen, he had one out himself, poised and ready. As I told him, there are celebrities and there are legends, and to see someone like him sitting across the way was pretty cool. What made it all the better was how incredibly friendly and gracious he was. Just wanted to share. -S _____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...

See, that's what I think is right. Someone else talked about the rude thin people...what about the rude fat people who live in denial and don't mind that they make everyone else's lives uncomfortable. If one is large, I am sorry...but live with it and do what you have to do to be comfortable and allow those around you to live their lives unimpeded. I flew about 200,000 miles last year, and was fortunate enough to not have any situations like that. On the other hand, though, I also didn't get stuck next to any swedish bikini models either. -S _____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...

I am still a few years away from kids, so I substitute my most recent purchase. To fully appreciate it, I guess I should be posting a picture of what I am replacing too. So, if anyone is interested in magic, there is this guy, Criss Angel, who has a new show on A&E that starts next Wednesday at 10pm. I am in New York right now doing a promotion for the show at Grand Central Station, and had the chance to meet him yesterday. I didn't know what to expect, but he was such a genuinely nice person, I can't even explain. Everyone that was with him was really warm and welcoming to everyone that they met. I just think that people who treat others like that deserve to be supported and successful. Anyway, I believe he is going to be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight if anyone wants to check it out. Also, if anyone is in New York City this week, check out the installation at Grand Central. It's pretty cool, and we are pretty proud of the scope of the project and its success. Have a great day. I think Clay has me with his day trips to London, but a couple of weeks ago, 48 hours - San Francisco to Denver to Toronto to Orlando and home to SF. Or LA to Sydney for a week, direct to London for 4 days, then back to Cali. I think that's about the best I can do. :-) -S _____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...
