If you have the main closing loop that is mounted on the bottom of the pack tray then you need not worry; just adjust the loop's knot.

It's unfortunate that the TV industry would care to bastardize the institution of marriage.

I had a friend in school who lived in a duplex, and his girlfriend dumped him for his neighbor. Needless to say, he could hear the bed hitting the wall several times a week, so he moved away to save his sanity

A nice -27 or -34 Pilatus Porter sells for roughly $750k to $900k, and it is a specialty tail-wheel STOL aircraft, which means that it has higher cost insurance than say a Cessna Carvan of the same value. The insurance industry has recently doubled their rates as well as raised the bar for the pilots that they'll allow to fly under their policies.
-
You will probably just survive, never developing asset. Even the airport (land) won't do it. You need to be the aircraft owner, eventually. Set your sights on an A&P ticket, a Cessna 206/350hp-turbo, and a Twin Otter.

Now that's phucking rude!

Outside of airspace restrictions a businessman wouldn't talk to anyone until they were handed a subpoena. Most people don't like "change" unless it's going to mean extra "change" for their pockets! The biggest problem is going to be the annual cost of insurance. The insurance industry has lost a lot of money in the stock market, and they have the benefit of being able to raise their without having the approval of any public commision.

Several local providers are available, and I went with one that doesn't offer any e-mail, nntp, etc., just an unthrottled static IP connection to the Internet via their own Cisco equipment. I went with Newsguy in Palo Alto, CA for my services. I had to provide the Firewall, NIC, and CAT5 cable. The power utility simple offers the bandwidth on their fiber. There's no "telco" involved at the local level and most of the bandwidth is unused, so there's plenty of "dark" fiber available. U.S. West (is/was) trying to block the network rollout claiming a violation of regulations, but they were not in a position to offer any high-speed services in this area. It was a business thing; an unfavorable view of competition.

The idea is to monitor the real-time power usage throughout the county with their fiber, so they can sell the excess power to areas where it brings in the most money; they sell Internet connections as a side business since all that bandwidth is just sitting there. I live in an all electric household, but the bill is only $65.00/month, and it's icy outside these days.

Free fiber installation next to the power meter. I pulled my own CAT5. http://www.gcpud.org/

hehe, that's funny. Unfortunately I'm in snow country, but I do do have a cheaper and faster pipeline: Fiber to the House Cost? Only $25.95/month. Speed? I can easily download a 15-Mb MPG in about 3-min or less! The fiber network is always hot, so I filter the packets with a Netscreen 5XP hardware firewall appliance.

I recently saw "The Cell" starring Jennifer Lopez. I would classify it as, "The Matrix (on steroids!) goes on a blind date with The Silence of the Lambs!"

You should call PD for a line length chart and have those lines measured. Spectra lines can shrink from the slider grommet friction especially those outer most lines!

Is a Cobalt safer for big way jumps?

The California central coast is a beautiful place throughout the seasons, but it's winter riptide is tricky as most of the surfers there will admit. Blue skies to you, Michael. -
Has anyone who is seat-belted in a tailgate aircraft had an unintentional reserve deployment?
-
Nope, that's the way it is when the insurance company's investments don't work out the way they originally thought. Time for the little people to dig deeper and bend the knee!

I don't bring my job to the drop zone. How about you, are you a rat or not?

Your wife simply wants to see how she "measures-up" to your former squeeze. Men are more insecure when it's the other way around.

I donate $250.00 each year to my alma mater, Cal Poly, SLO, as well as $40.00 for annual dues to the school's civil engineering club; tax deductible too!

Your local Walmart should have them in the automotive section as the remote control units use these batteries. However, you really should support your local dropzone; with winter on the way every dollar counts!

In the early seventies, two of us who were first out of a UH-1H over Roger's DZ at Ft. Lewis landed on the heavily wooded hill between Roger's DZ and the C5A mock-up due to the wind. I hauled in on the rear risers of the 35-ft round to stop it from driving forward, and I dropped through the trees missing the treetops. On the way down, I heard a huge branch break loose. I landed on the ground in a nice PLF, and I stayed curled-up. The branch came down hard leaving a considerable depression in the soil less than three feet from my torso; I'm sure that would have been a serious injury if not fatal. The other jumper snagged the treetops, and he bounced off the branches before being suspended above ground. It was some time before he was cut loose; he was in terrible pain too. As usual, I came close, but learned another lesson at someone else's expense. --RMS

OK, if you have good credit then you won't need much for money down if there is income being generated there. Go to: http://www.myfico.com/ If you have a score over 700, you shouldn't have a problem getting a mortgage lender to listen to your business plan. BTW, I had a recent score of 796, which is slightly lower this year because I applied for, and received, more than two low-interest credit cards. I haven't ever had a late payment in over 389-months of credit history, and I don't have any derogatory public records either. --rms

Thanks for the follow-up! I have two Crossfires, and one of them required the line trim modification. It opens much faster now, and I am going to buy a larger slider for it to get back those 800-ft snivels. It still flies and lands great otherwise, and yes, it does have higher front riser pressure too. --rms

I'd like to hear more about this canopy. Thanks!
