This is why I don't : A major cause of stomach problems (ulcers,burns, irritable bowel, etc) is by chewing to much gum. While chewing gum the stomach is expecting food so it produces more acid to break down the food this causes problems with the lining of the stomach. The ulcer develops when the lining of the stomach or duodenum becomes corroded by stomach acid that is casued when chewing gum. and your main dish...it's really easy... BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE THAI BASIL .... NO SUBSTITUTES PAD KRAPOW SERVES 3-4 Active Work Time: 25 minutes * Total Preparation Time: 25 minutes Instead of ground chicken, you can use diced chicken, diced pork, shrimp or even tofu. -------------------------------------------------------------- 2 to 3 tablespoons oil 3 cloves garlic, chopped 3 to 4 large serrano chiles, thinly sliced 1 1/2 cups ground chicken 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce 3 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce 1 tablespoon chile paste in soybean oil 1 1/2 cups sliced white onions 1/2 cup sliced green bell pepper 1 cup Thai basil leaves 1 teaspoon white pepper -------------------------------------------------------------- Heat wok over high heat. Add oil, garlic and chiles and cook until garlic begins to brown, about 30 seconds. Add chicken and cook, stirring, until chicken begins to brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Add dark and sweet soy sauces and fish sauce and stir-fry until liquid is reduced by 1/2, about 3 minutes. Stir in chile paste. Add onions and bell pepper and cook until chicken is cooked through, 5 to 6 minutes. Stir in basil leaves, then add pepper and stir until combined. and another classic... THAI CHICKEN SATAY SERVES 4 Active Work Time: 25 minutes * Total Preparation Time: 45 minutes -------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Tbsp. Curry powder ½ Tbsp. White Pepper 1 Tbsp. Salt 1 Tbsp. Sugar 1 Tsp. Garlic powder, or more to taste 1 ½ Lbs. Boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces. ¼ cup Coconut milk 8 to 10 Bamboo skewers -------------------------------------------------------------- * Combine curry powder, pepper, salt, and sugar and garlic powder in small bowl. * Add chicken pieces and toss to coat evenly. * Add coconut milk, coating chicken evenly. * Thread chicken onto skewers, leaving 1 1/2 to 2 inches at bottom of each skewer. * Cover and marinade 4 hours to overnight. * Grill chicken over high heat on outdoor grill or using stove-top grill pan until cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes each side. -------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- PEANUT SAUCE FOR CHICKEN SATAY Active Work Time: 25 minutes * Total Preparation Time: 25 minutes -------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil ½ Tbsp. Red curry paste, or more to taste 1 Cup Coconut milk 2 Tbsp. Chunky peanut butter, or more to taste ½ Tsp. Fish sauce ½ Tsp. Rice vinegar 1 Tbsp. Sugar, or more to taste -------------------------------------------------------------- * Heat oil in small saucepan over high heat and stir-fry curry paste 15 seconds. * Stir in coconut milk and bring to boil; boil 2 minutes. * Add peanut butter. Stir constantly until sauce begins to thicken, 2 to 3 minutes. * Reduce heat to simmer and add fish sauce, rice vinegar and sugar. Cook sauce, stirring, 1 minute more. * Remove from heat.
