  2. I bet you could hang a couple of people off the top side inlet!
  3. Got a loan from the bank... told them it was for a $5,000. entertainment center. Hey, it wasn't too far from the truth!! I am constantly entertained with my gear!! Course it won't be paid off till 2003.
  4. WELL DONE! Good cause, good people, good jumps. blue skies and congrats ladies!
  5. YEA SPANKINGS! What a minute.... who's getting spanked?!
  6. AFF ground school, then grounded for two weeks waiting on wind and rain. Finally did a tandem and knew I was hooked.
  7. It's hard to tell how he's going to drain it. Unfortunately there's no picture of the finished drywell. Maybe a BIG straw and lots of suction!!
  8. It looks like he's got a line to a tank that's lined. Guessing he'll have to have the tank drained ocasionally. Sort of like a liver and a bladder!
  9. Here's a mix: Salvador Dali, Picasso, Da Vinci, Michealangelo
  10. I've got to agree with nws01... 4pm is late!! Here's my rationale when I was drinking.... 12noon start with beer, 5pm is happy hour all's fair. Special occasions (holidays, birthdays, REALLY bad hangovers) you could start shortly after breakfast and stop when standing up is not possible (can't make it to the alcohol!) Why did I quit again....

    New Gear Idea!

Tha's a riot!! Although I could use it. On windy days, you could sit back on it and have canopy races! Last across the dz buys!
  12. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Beer makes some people happy and some people angry. Let's talk about BOOBIES too! ---------------------------------------------------------------- There's always room for BOOBIES
  13. Jimbo, I completely agree. I have learned alot of, what to do and what not to do, after the last load. But it's a balancing act for me. Sometimes I can stick around for a couple of hours and the beer flowing doesn't bother me. Other times I'm there for 15 minutes and start trying to rationalize, "Well one beer won't hurt". That's when I pack up and great the hell out quick!! You are right, there is a bunch of information to be gained from listened to and asking questions when the day is done.
  14. Jose, Your response sounds a bit judgemental as well! Where's all the love?!?!
  15. You are not alone, as others have said in their replies. Sober for three years, clean for seven. Staying after a day of jumping is agreat way to make friends and hear all the stories. But it can be tough socializing at the end of the day, you have to know your limitations. If you start to jones for that alcoholic beverage... pack it up and leave QUICK! If you know or think you're not ready, don't stay. If being sober is new, don't put yourself in temptations way. And if you can, like Chili said, buy your beer when you owe. The drinkers will LOVE the fact that there is more for them!! You can almost see them salivate!! Just remember... one day at a time.
  16. Now where is that damned passport? Enjoy!
  17. USPA calendar, Rantoul pictures on desktop, latest issues of skydiving and Parachutist in desk. I really do work... sometimes

    Beer Question

"The DZ I call home right now is Adventure Center Skydiving in Hollister California." Couldn't remember the name... King Air with an off site landing area right? Great view of Monterray Bay and Mountains. Beautiful place to jump. Crazy Larry still rigging there? Just to stay on thread topic... yes I brought BEER...for first jump at another dz and for first jump out of King Air.

    Beer Question

Do you jump at Air Adventure California? I saw their last AFF grad walking around with his crown, cape, and septre. He almost had to buy beer 'cause he was caught without his crown. Overall a truely hideous getup! WHAT A RIOT!!
