    ALthough I totally agree that he did the right thing, since he obviously walked away in one piece, I think that chopping the main could also have been as viable an option. Someone had the same problem in Perris last week end, cut away and had an uneventfull reserve ride. It just cost him a little more... Kudos on landing it safely.

    What KCJumper said. Most Dropzones will ask to look at your log book to check on your currency. If your last logged jump is a year old, chances are they'll have you do a recurrency jump. I'm ready for the Nationals in the Funneling category! Met a bunch of cool people and had an amazing week end.

    I do the same. I forget words, or replace them with English words. However, 24 hours in France and most of it comes back pretty easily. I haven't lived there for 17 years...!     The fact that I was on that jump in the first place makes it chaotic. The look of fear on Betsy's face while staring at my legs humping Tony's is priceless. The the fact that "someone" waved at me while in freefall as I was under canopy made it a little more special. Then Geno stole the show... Congrats on #100, and thanks for having me on that jump.
