I went to the 1st one, in Casale Monferrato. They usually fly a Turbo Finnist. Good people, good food around. Plus for Easter, there is a swiss invasion and an extra Turbo Porter flying in. Never went to Paracentro, but of what I heard they have a beautiful scenery, and prices tailor made for swiss bankers Casale tickets are around 33$ (25€) Locarno tickets are around 51$ (47CHF) scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

New Tandem Rig Soon to Enter the Market
piisfish replied to skydived19006's topic in Tandem Skydiving
well they did present the Precision Tandem at Skydive Expo this year, were going around the US to show it and demonstrating it (as I understood), and would certainly be showing it again at the PIA Convention in Daytona in 10 weeks time. The rig is pretty lightweight, with some interesting features. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM -

this is very disrespectful, specially for a veteran of the ATS. Had I not received some form of education, I would tell you to fuck yourself. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

as Gary said above, worth repeating. Your reserve must be "the right size", not too small either. If you need a bigger reserve, get a bigger rig. "tight fit" is OK for your jeans or shirts IF and only IF you are not ridiculously overweight. Nothing to do with your rig. Except the closing loops and the BOC pocket, which should not be loose. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

Regardless of your rig, he might swear at you for calling him your 'reserve packer'. He's a 'rigger', and worked hard to earn the certificate and title, and is hopefully doing more for you than just packing your reserve. in some countries, there are packers, reserve packers and riggers, with different levels each

for all you Kiwis down there, don't miss the opportunity to see Yves "Jetman" Rossy flying over your country. http://www.nzairshow.com a great adventure to see live

Drugs are not legal, been trying to decriminalise canabis, which is more or less tolerated, relatively open minded about it despite the fact that is illegal. We do try to help druggies to do their thing in the best conditions, because we don't like to see heroin addicts jabbing their veins in the streets scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

Seriously, it is the way we were raised. General Swiss way would be : work hard, don't get noticed, don't disturb your neighbour. In other words, if you want peace, give tranquility scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

no way, the rig needs to be test-dropped. Check with TSE for example in the UK. They might be able to help out

Its interesting to note that outside of the USA in first world countries that allow firearm ownership its for the purpose of either hunting or target shooting not self defence. Protection of society is seen as the job of the police. Even before the handgun ban in the UK you couldn't carry or own for self defence. Switzerland comes to mind as being directly against that. could you please explain what you mean by that ? scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

"funny" I thought that the original was bad enough. should this lower part be longer, so as to crunch less ? scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

I saw the same around here in Switz. I like the new part of the bridle (can't remember, is it Type8 ?). The "old" bridle gets damaged very quickly on the lower part, where the bridle gets "crunched" when uncollapsing the drogue chute. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
