which is which ?? WAW... just WAW ... But are you sure it's a homemade attempt ? Is it not possible that a factory piece degrades ? (I doubt that THAT would be the result) scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

thanks, I know that already, but my question was "why this one on the breakaway, and a soft on the reserve ? " scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

hi Pantanal, do I see correctly ? do you have a soft handle for the reserve and a semi-rigid hookable handle for the cutaway ? not saying that's there's anything wrong with that, but I would like to listen (actually read) about the thought process that lead to that choice. Sweet rig by the way, me likey. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

You need to look to find your handles? In standard conditions, I can find them easily without looking. Each and every time I had to use one, the other or both handles I did look as I was trained. Sangi, did you ever wonder why in a plane cockpit the handles and levers have different shapes, textures and color ? edited to add : on my rig I have black webbing, and had ordered red cutaway pillow and red reserve pillow. I thought it was cool and that I knew my right from my left. Got talked out of it and slightly modified the cutaway pillow which now has 2 yellow stripes on it, which changes the feeling and the visual. And no, I dont have red, yellow or black suits (yet) scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

Tandem canopy @ full alti.?
piisfish replied to gearless_chris's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
it happened to me after catching (that's what I think happened) the drogue release when going to the door. Exit, stabilisation, drogue toss... and HOPPLA here's a canopy at around 11k ft... It was a LONG ride down. On the systems I use, passengers do not have a drogue release. That opening strengthened my opinion on : Pull the drogue once stable, and NOT pull the drogue to get stable. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM -
Youtube is your friend. Bonne année mon Nico, prends soin de ton genou et de ta famille. That gave me an idea : get a 1 week massage/treatment for your knee

come to Geneva (Switzerland) the saturday around 10 august edited after seeing the video : FUCK them fireworks are great. Wish they had the same huge playground and THE bridge to play with in Geneva. Check this one, last summer's fireworks, www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VY1nX9KYk8 . I specially like the end (from 9'20)

I have seen, touched and jumped a couple, not at my ideal size unfortunately. But I pretty much enjoyed the experience. Would love to jump one at my size with my preferred canopies inside. BKR who posts here has also seen and touched a couple scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

I could explain you , but then I'd have to kill you ok ok, it's not MY secret... first place a bowl of 50 cl of sunflower oil in the fridge for a couple of hours 50g liquid honey 50g water 1g Agar Agar warm the water and honey , then put the Agar Agar, mix them well, bring to ebullition for 2 minutes, continue mixing slowly let cool at ambient temperature for around 10 minutes. with a syringe drop the liquid mix in drops into the cold oil once you are done, rinse the pearls in water the actual taste is less "honey" than the original honey as it is till a bit diluted with water and jelly the process is called spherification scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
