I understand your explanation and was not trying to start an argument . Thanks for taking the time to write the long and detailed explanation though. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

i personally misrouted my 3rings on one riser, got through gear check at a major european boogie, and was spotted on the plane (around 9000ft) by Loic Jean-Albert. He rerouted it properly and our jump was uneventful. The riser would not have released under tension Besides that, I recently had a bad customer experience with a loft at a major US DZ. Ugly as hell packjob, reserve pud not properly velcroed, and data card shoved in the pocket worse than an old hankerchief. Will repack it myself hoping I can get a better result. That's all for now scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

I don't think there are such things as minor and major alterations. Alteration is alteration. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

I am not a pro-Baumgartner or a pro-redbullshit, but you are unfair. Despite the logos everywhere, we have seen more about the future jump with Stratos project than with any other project. Yes it's a lot about promotion, but they also show a LOT. And you would also have to admit that without the stinky beverage, a LOT of unconventional sports/athletes would not be where they are now. Yes they sell their souls and image and ass to the bull, are transformed in walking billboards and whatelse, but they can practice their sport and show it to people. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

I assembled and packed a brand-new one a couple days ago. Mark Hi Mark, was it a regular Wonderhog or a Wonderhog Micron ? scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM -

and make sure you are NEVER speeding either. People from a village close to mine asked for the cops to monitor the speed as they found that drivers were too fast in the area. MOST offenders were the same people who asked for the monitoring scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

17 year old turns in at Start Skydiving!
piisfish replied to dbcooperfan's topic in Safety and Training
yes I have thoughts... in your country : -what is the age for flying a plane ? -what is the age for driving a car ? -what is the age for shooting a gun ? In my country, you can start skydiving at the age of 16, and it is not a problem. The major problem for them young ones is getting the money to do so. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM -
this one is not too shabby either, even if it is a "straight runner" , but the high roof gives her a great look.

Bill, as much as I am NOT a pro-vigil, nobody should be fearing the fire-in-the-trunk situation. At least not those who have read the manual. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
