Really? How is supporting my local dealer any better than supporting someone else's local dealer? well if you don't support your local dealer , you might not have one for long... and need to go looking further away... for the best price, depends on the brand scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

Yves "Jetman" Rossy flies together withe Breitling Jet Team
piisfish replied to piisfish's topic in Wing Suit Flying
he can fly around 250km/h (around 155mph), which gives "some margin" for the L39's above their stall speed. This flight took place (AFAIK) right after the Sion Airshow in September -

Most of your flocking was at "glide ratios around 1:1" and you stated that "1:1 is a piss-poor glide ratio" ... in the same post he was also wondering why formation leaders were adopting such steep angles, which I understood as " hey, let's perform better" scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

respecting your hard deck is not pure luck. Can I land it ? No ... CHop Would I be proud and happy to get out of linetwists on my main far below my hard deck ? No... Chop In my opinion what he did wrong was having a skyhook with a camera. Initial deployment seems to be at a decent altitude, EP's too. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

and what exactly is your problem with that ? It's not a problem at all. It's a written thought on subject, as asked for. More precise, I find it ridiculous for a pro camera man to avoid death by pure chance. Yet, his canopy choice suggests high experience. Where is that? I don't have a problem with that but can't resist pointing on "expert skydiver and his skills on survival". He almost ruined my sig-line so ? what could he have done better ? scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

Why not put a vertical stabilizer on a wing suit?
piisfish replied to cocheese's topic in Wing Suit Flying
No man! Upsize for safety! and wear a weightbelt for speed (which I would need to consider to fly more comfortably at 90-100km/h vertical) scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM -

if you are unstable in your wingsuits, get some serious coaching, and smaller suits. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM -
