Oppose Equal Pay for U.S. Women's Soccer Team!
piisfish replied to winsor's topic in Speakers Corner
That would mean: better performance, better prize money. Pretty similar isn’t it? -

Yup. Equal pay for equal performance. -
You’re such a bad ambassador for your country

I believe that most skydivers in the metric world do not consider themselves aviators. Moreover due to the precision of our instruments and the decision speed we need, it is better to jump with the units you are most familiar with. In case of mixed units jumps, do the rough calculations on the ground prior to jumping, and agree on altitudes during the briefing.

Yet aviation is mostly worldwide in feet.

I wanted to see if the parade would match/ exceed what you can see on 14 July in Paris, which I believe is the nicest military parade. Also Trump didn’t get the Russian technique to avoid the rain. No collusion there. Edited to add: and I like armoured vehicles, being an ex artillery officer. Love my M109

I believe Americans are not ready for multiparty elections. It is all black and white, blue or red, good or bad. One or the other. If not one, then absolutely the other. Have a look at the Swiss political system. Not saying it is perfect, far from it. But in my opinion beats the US system ten fold. Couldn’t work in many other places though, as political stuff is so ingrained in the mentalities.

Is there any video around? The only videos I have seen of a “parade “ seemed below par of a short bus parade.

Crossfire2 wouldn’t be your best choice. Not recommended under 1.4 wing loading -
Which canopies are more prone to collapse?
piisfish replied to Whysojumpy's topic in Gear and Rigging
No names, but under loading a canopy (as in “below designed flying parameters “) makes it more turbulence sensitive -
This is a sleeve which was designed I believe to prevent damage on rigs like the Mirage. And it is several years old already. But I could be wrong edited to add : page 24 of this link https://www.cypres.aero/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/991205_CYPRES_Rigging_Tips.pdf

Pretty sure Deyan can do that. All my risers were modified like that by Colin in Empuria.

Parachutes de France toggles. Best, bar none. 1 pin up, 2 tabs down.

It seems that they have disappeared. Even if they were rarely used, there were valuable threads in there. Is it possible to reactivate them ?

Color the line attachment points on the canopy
piisfish replied to TheFlyingSwede's topic in Gear and Rigging
Get an Aerodyne canopy. They have the coloured attachments. -
The size rules apply to jumpers with a French license. Unless you have a ridiculous wing loading respective to your jump number, you should be fine

piisfish replied to pchapman's topic in The Bonfire
Haven’t tried yet on my computer, but preferred the old version on my phone -

To be fair with trump and job creation, he has probably already employed more people in the White House than the previous 5 presidents . And more opportunities are foreseen scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
