So you think I am the underage drinker slug? No, I am sorry to ruin the conspiracy you have going here but the person who was pulled over is my best friend, we have been through alot together. Yes, maybe he should have called and have someone pick him up. But when he says he was driving normal, I believe him. As for the part that says use the having no reason for a stop as yoru defense. I will pass that along to him. Alot of City Police and Sheriff's in our area do that......it may be more difficult since it was a Trooper. Thanks to everyone that are givign advice and webistes......my friend will appericiate it.

I have never known my friend to lie to me. If he says he was driving like he normally drives then I believe him. I am not trying to say what he did was right, i am just asking for advice to pass along for when he goes to court

If it is any help it was 2 weeks before his 21st. I know it is not an excuse for drinking and driving. Put put your self in his shoes....wouldn;t you like soem legal advice

State Trooper in Ohio. He has a public defender, that is why I posted this, making sure he doesn;t get screwed over because of not being properly defended.

A good friend of mine, who is 20 years old, was pulled over late one night about a week ago. He expalined to me he was driving normal and the speed limit when he was pulled over. It was very late, and when the officer approched the vehichle he smelled alcohol. My friend blew a .06 which is under the legal limit for a 21 year old, but was charged with DUI since he was only 20. Now my friend goes in front of the judge in 2 days. Any advice on if he can plea to a lesser charge, or if after reviewing the in car camera and showing no reason for a traffic stop if he can get the case dismissed? My tone would suggest i was calling him an asshole but it was more like when your mom or dad told you to do something when you were younger and they walked away and you flipped them off behind their back... same kind of premise. If i wanted a personal attack I would have said something like " _____ you are an asshole and a dimwit" Thats a personal attack.

There have been COUNTLESS points to the fact that Iraq is rich in oil and thats the main reason we are there... Well its funny that the US oil reserves hold enough for 25 years without having to buy any OPEC oil... there are plenty of other allied countries with the United States that are swimming with oil.. to try to point out that fact is just another attempt for you to jump on the partisan bandwagon... you sound like a repeating record of jackasses that i see post this inane dribble all the time. Actually do me a favor.. get off here for an hour... watch CNN or Fox News (dont try this at home kids) then come back and maybe you will have something to contribute to the memory of the 500 soldiers without pissing on their graves. I think we all know that this wasn't the terror, or war thereon that anyone was referring to. Saddam Hussein is/was a bad guy, very mean to his own people. So are alot of other dictators whom we choose to either ignore or actively support. There's no slam on anyone there. Just the truth. Both democratic and republican admistrations have supported those dictators. It's wrong in either since. But to tell us we had to get him out of there to rid the Iraqi's of tyrrany, well that's just a bit hypocritical. I know the hypocritical comment cant be directed towards me because i said nothing about tyrrany... i said people were full of fear and terror no matter what "terror" you are referring to... To say there is no terror in Iraq then to say its "not the terror you are referring to" is pretty confusing to me... I would think terror means the same thing in that country no matter who the terror is aimed at. I think that the dictators must be supported otherwise there would be invasions of many other countries... the dictators are weighed in the terms of danger they represent to the US and all other free peoples. Then are dealt with accordingly. Oh and "very mean" to his own people? That is the most damn childish description i have ever heard of... if you think the gassing of hundreds of thousands of people is "very mean" then your perspective on this war is skew to begin with.
