    My aunt had one...POS...IMHO.
  3. Me too, there's just no substitute for a nice handwritten letter or card.
  4. The Hills Have Eyes is really gross.
  5. Improper use of then and than.
  6. Great movie~ I loved it! I've seen it a couple of times, it's the kind of movie that makes you think...ya know? I just couldn't get it out of my head after the first viewing.
  7. But, pepper on strawberries is OK. WTH???
  8. No, Catholic would be Yes, Father ...try again
  9. Yes, this is the stuff!! I'm also unsure of the spelling, but I work for a Fire Department and when my daughter got a second degree burn on her shoulder, the medics here got me some from the local ER and she healed beautifully and really quickly. Can't even tell she ever had the burn.

    Dreams?

All of my dreams are in color with the exception of my "flying dreams" (not to be confused with skydiving dreams). I've dreamt that I could fly a few times but it's always in black and white, and I'm flying at night through drizzling rain. It seems I'm trying really hard to get somewhere? but have to fly slow because I can't see well enough through the darkness and rain to speed up. Oddly enough, until I began skydiving a few years ago I had never had a "flying dream".
  12. I love Red Envelope and Barnes and Noble. I've used both without problems. www.redenvelope.com www.bn.com Good Luck!
  13. Yes, his name is Nick Dunn. Check it out: http://www.firstgiving.com/deermanschapel I grew up with his dad and now my mother teaches Nick in Children's Church. The children's church group and families are participating along with a few others from different churches in the area. My oldest daughter and I will be walking and pushing my 9 month old in the stroller. It's going to be a great day ~ we've been planning it for a few months now and have really been looking forward to it. *edited to make clicky*
  14. Sending prayers your way. On another note, I live in Alabama and this Saturday my children and I are participating in a "Walk for Autism" ~ truly a great cause! Best wishes to you and your family!
  15. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church: Article 5-The Fifth Commandment You shall not kill I. Respect for Human Life Suicide 2282 If suicide is committed with the intention of setting an example, especially to the young, it also takes on the gravity of scandal. Voluntary co-operation in suicide is contrary to the moral law. Grave psychological disturbances, anguish, or grave fear of hardship, suffering, or torture can diminish the responsibility of the one committing suicide. 2283 We should not despair of the eternal salvation of persons who have taken their own lives. By ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. The Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives. (Emphasis added by me) Some here might not agree with this, but you asked for an answer--this is what I'm offering.
  16. Why not just have sex. A great orgasm can take care of that excessive energy. If the absence of a SO is the problem, just masturbate. Multiple orgasms can cure whatever's ailin' ya
  17. No, not annoyed-just envious. I agree, I don't think of it as an occupation either, rather a luxury. There's always laundry to do
  18. No, it's not funny when someone dies. But even if she couldn't hear the horn, wouldn't she still be able to feel the vibrations of a train approaching?
  19. I went through this about four years ago, it's really not that bad. The procedure itself is not painful, just ridiculously inconvenient and irritating. I agree with what someone else posted, if you do react to something, the itching can get a little intense. But, afterwards they'll give you a neutralizing shot and that takes care of the itching. One other thing, I was given the option of allergy shots or drops (placed under the tongue). I opted for the drops simply because giving myself a shot creeped me out. I was on the drops for about a year and a half, and I'm better now than I was. Still have some minor problems, but nothing too serious. Good luck!
  20. Just FYI, always keep your receipt and any other paperwork (certifications) that may go along with the ring. If you go back to the jeweler you originally purchased the ring from you may have some options. Many jewelers will allow you to trade in the engagement ring on something new. It could be something for yourself, your mom, or even a new fiance when the time is right... The point is, you don't have to just pawn or sell it for a tiny fraction of what you paid for it. It usually works like this, if you paid $1000.00 for a ring you can trade it in on a $2000.00 or more ring. Granted you are spending more money, but if your next honey is worth it you'd be spending that money anyway. The way I see it you'd already be ahead of the game and not just completely out of your original investment. Just my .02
  21. No offense, but did you even read what you were replying to? You can speculate all day long about the "what ifs" but that won't change what actually happened. You're beating a dead horse on this one...
