    It might be in between the elements of the lense itself .But i've been there before to with my old turd lenses .This why i say buy a royal lense .3 it is a single element of glass low profile .You can zoom it to your liking and manual focus it .works perfectly for me .     I shoot a .3 royal single element lense. Sounds like you need to spin the lense off as soon as you land ,you have fog on the camera itself i would say. wipe it asap when you land .     yes sennheiser ew 100 It works pretty nice but the range is only about 500 ft , but that can vary longer sometimes .I just plug it in for the freefall portion of the video.     I have one of the older helmets also and my buddy almost lost it for me 2 weeks ago .I take it you just got it used and not fitted for you? I have some liner shim kits for it .Just let me know if you want that kit ? I'm sure if it is shimmed correctly you won't be having this problem again.     I took the same cut last summer and i cover all of my own supplies.I hear of a lot of others are getting paid better than i am + the dz supplies all of there editing supplies and computers too....... Go figure The only way to make it up is by selling the digital stills along with prints which goes in my pocket.     I don't know to much about aperture yet , it looks like its primary function is organizing according to the quicktime videos on apple website. I was thinking of buying it since it has some editing functions too..... But my primary concern is oraganizing by time on a certain event. Multiple photographers shooting from different angles of same subject.     Picasa is a pc based program,I'm running on a mac but i'm sure a few of us will be using pc's for this event . I have alot of bugs to work on for this event yet ,this is only the beginning .     I just know the cost of repair from the manufacturer is more than the camera is probably worth .Will it power up at all ? If you drop the memory card it will damage that , so maybe try another memory card from a friend or something before trashing it .
