  1. We did this once before in 2007 with great success. This Saturday there will be 110 from their group doing tandems, cooking, moon walks for the kids, and more fun fun fun.

  5. Another option is buy a round trip ticket to Houston ($250) and I will pick you up at the airport. Skydive Spaceland has an A-License in a week package and I have seen it completed in 3 days.   6. Hey Chris, I thought you might be interested in a PAC 750 along with the otter. We just received a brand new PAC at Spaceland. 12 hours total time. BAD ASS!
  7. I would say these guys are out but I certainly wouldn't rule out a tunnel in Houston! I'm sitting in Atlanta right now waiting on a flight to Paraclete XP. ???????????????????????????????????????????????
  8. Jim, was that directed at me? I was not bitching, just pointing out an amusing mistake. I assume you noticed that those are tandems on the graphic. Besides, I'm waaaay past bitching about any DZ. I think we did 150 tandems during this event!

  10. Just an update from Spaceland.... As of this evening there were 115 competitors registered. This will be the largest collegiates on record. The weather started improving today and we flew 47 practice loads. The forcast is sunny and 68 degrees for the next 3 days. More later...
  11. Just spoke with Spaceland which is 12 miles from Alvin and they reported 25-35 winds no rain and lots of te-kill-ya!

  18. I personally spoke with the DZO this morning. According to her this was not an accident. There were no injuries. The aircraft lost oil pressure while on the runway. The pilot was taxiing back to the hanger and the nose fell into a mud hole. They do operate from a grass strip and it has been raining in Texas! Please stop the speculation! If you want to know something go directly to the source.
