Hmm , well certainly I'm a low timer but I'm very qualified to provide the safe "hoo-haa" mod on all canopies for women as long as they're over 300 sqaure feet :) Plus it keeps all you women floating around for an extra 10-15 minutes while I'm getting packed up for the next load "Don't Mess Around With the Guy in Shades- Oh No!!! Just curious what it takes for a local BASE jumper to include you as part of the ground crew. I'm obviously under qualified to even consider a jump but would be more than willing to go ahead and start ground crewing for a local jumper and learning the ropes while I up my skydive numbers. Any jumpers in south florida area that need a super newbie crew person PM me, I'm unemployed so I'm pretty much free all the time and just looking to learn as much as possible...... Would you tip the badspot driver for recovered main?

A badspot driver is hired by a DZ (usually at minimum wage!). The driver watches loads for openings, if a cutaway, checks that the jumper has a good reserve, if it looks like anyone has a hard landing renders first aid and notifies manifest to call 911, follows down the free bag and reserve and recovers it after a chop, and drives out to pick up jumpers that land out. Along with etc. etc. After working as a volunteer at nationals I have a lot more respect and appreciation for Badspots and Manifest!!!!!!! Ok gotcha , I started at a smaller DZ and basically anyone that saw some landing off or that had a cutaway would be anyone and everyone that saw it happen. But in line with thread, if such a person was hired by a DZ and they did in fact help me out in such a situation I'd definetly give them some cash money for being there. Yeah Houston is pretty much SOL now when it comes to the rotation, im just happy they got far...atlanta is always shutting them down. But who knows lets just hope the young talent steps it up ! "Don't Mess Around With the Guy in Shades- Oh No!!! "

He was also known for mistreating the sealife he encountered to make the taping of his show better. Little known fact he was also of the original spear fishermen, he taught the guys down here in the gulf of mexico how to "brain" a large fish etc. Still all in all the world of SCUBA is much better because of him.
