  1. Hey ya all....just wanted to let everyone know that Mike is installing power outlets in the camping area so that people can plug in their heaters and not freezzzzzeeee to death. Just don't be burnin' the place down. He is also putting a 40x60 foot tent out there for anyone who wants to set up tents under it (extra protection from the elements). It is going to be a GREAT time!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!! Be safe on your travels in
  2. This is a tragedy indeed. Joe was a GREAT guy from what I got to know of him. I had my first exposure to Joe when we flew the Otter over to Gladewater from Gold Coast this past November. I was very fortunate to have an opportunity to jump with Joe and Roger in my first successful big-way. It was awesome. We were glowing all over the place. Then when Joe and Roger came over to Gold Coast a few weeks later it was like being reunited with family again. It was so nice to see them both and have another opportunity to jump with them. Joe had an orneryness in him that you just can't help but love. He will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his dear friends and family. One day we will have a great big family reunion in the sky. Blue skies, Leanne Live as though there is no tomorrow.
  3. For those of you who had the opportunity to know Scotty you can consider yourselves very lucky. Scotty was just an all-around good, free-spirited, and loving guy. Gold Coast Skydivers has lost a wonderful freeflyer, friend, and brother. We miss you and your beautiful smile Scotty and look forward to flying with you again one day. Until then my friend.... Bluest of skies, Leanne Live as though there is no tomorrow.
