Lol.. ASVAB... hehe. My then girlfriend and I took the asvab after several days of drinking and not sleeping. She scored an 82 (I got an 84, she was soooo pissed). So, don't sweat it. And, even if there isnt a buddy program for you, dont worry about that either. You will make some of the best friend's you will ever have in your life in the service. I can't speak for the Air Force, but in the Army when you realized you might be going into combat with the guys around you, you tend to become a pretty tight group quick. It also helps that during basic and AIT they DSs are trying to take the individual out of you and make you into a functioning group. But, if you are out of shape do work on that. I was with some guys on the way in, that were still in FTU (fitness training unit) when i got out of basic. Although, i still can't understand someone who would sign up to join the service if you cant even do 10 pushups, 20 situps, and run a mile in 8 mins. Notice how alot of the "non-conformists" tend to look alike just like the "conformists". True non-conformists are an extremely rare breed and you usually find them in mental wards. Its just part of human nature to belong to a group. Fight it all you like you will always be part of a group. As for the intelligence vs happiness debate. It really depends on what ranges of "mental prowess" we are refering to. If we are speaking simply of intelligence (the ability to regurgitate facts memorized from books), the relevance of being intelligent may be a little trivial. If, we are speaking wisdom (a person with the ability to fully consider situations or concepts without simply applying rules from books) then you would have to take into consideration what type of enviroment they have been exposed to. All in all. If you'll notice I said it was just above my waist.Before I cut it,my hair stopped about 4 inches above my waist. And it was layered when it was cut,so the front is chin length, but the back stops at my shirt collar. They measured 12inches,pulled it into a ponytail and cut just above the hair tie.Afterwards they trimmed and layered it into the style that was chosen.So obviously logic would show it is not a foot from waist to chin. Eek. Didnt mean to make you defensive. I had no idea how your hair was cut or layered. And having worked as a carpenter i dont normally assume "just above" to be in the range of 4 inches. but now that you have explained it, it makes sense. Thank you

I thought the government had to specifically designate a former(or current) military plane for civilian use. Otherwise government only(this includes foreign governments). Hence, you dont see bill gates flying around in a Tomcat. And if this isnt true... can anyone tell me where i can steal.... er.. buy an A-6 Intruder?
