    The wall

Yeah, but what would you know? I bet you don't even score 100 on the Hawkins Consciousness Scale Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  2. "It’s important to note, Schumer and Pelosi’s objection to the wall is not subsitive," OANN, the Shakespeare of modern journalism. By which I mean they're making up words to go with their made up 'news' site. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  3. Which didn't bother them at all the first time around. Seems a touch self serving to use it as an excuse now It was enough for them to claim victory. And frankly whatever the margin is (and I think it would be more than that) at least they'd be moaning while we move forward with more stability, security and economic success than we would if we plow ahead with Brexit regardless (even May's own governent says so). Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  4. If you want asinine, it's her and her cabinet's argument that a second referendum would be anti-democratic, or that it would break "the people's" trust in democracy. Never been so close to throwing stuff at the TV Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  5. But for completely different reasons. Britain has boxed itself into a corner. There is no good answer for her. Cameron's folly is to blame. What I cannot fathom is why May is so adamant about not having a 2nd referendum. I have no idea. I think that because she was a Remain supporter during the referendum, when she became PM she decided to legitimise herself in the eyes of Tory voters by becoming an adamant supporter of Brexit as 'the will of the British people'. Now she feels boxed in by two years of her own rhetoric and doesn't want to go back on her word because she knows she'd be finished. Thing is though she's finished anyway, and no matter what the outcome her legacy will be to have presided over one of the most chaotic, shambolic periods in British political history. The question is whether she takes the country down with her out of sheer bloody mindedness Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  6. Do you know how to tell the difference between a peaceful person and a criminal? (Hint: the answer is no.) Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  7. A non-binding vote, yes. And also a vote that was essentially taken blind, with many supporters of Brexit having a very idealistic view of what our relationship with the EU would be. Now our government has had 2 years to negotiate the best possible exit deal with the EU, and everbody hates it. Almost all Brexit supporters hate it, and all EU supporters hate it. Even Parliament hates it, and are almost guaranteed to reject it. If that happens, the alternative is a no-deal Brexit, which (I believe) only the most ardent Brexit suporters would want to inflict in the nation. So, now we know what the options are, that we either have a deal no-one likes or a no-deal that no-one expected, why would we not want to hold another vote that everyone goes into with their eyes open, before we take a final irreversible step? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  8. If Q is some intelligence official, or network of officials within the government, what is that that would give him/her/them anymore ability to predict the Senate Election race than any other political pundit? Unless you think they were involved in influencing it. 'Cos honestly, it sounds a lot like you think that Q is a representative of the deep state involved in rigging the election. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  9. Nonsense. Buzzword nonsense. The term 'deep state' defines a form of political power that bypasses elected politicians. It's practically anti-party politics. Except it doesn't involve a business, it involves playing games with the operation of the Federal Government an the incomes of hundreds of thousands of people for the sole purpose of (your claim) making the opposition party look bad. Is that really more like business leadership than party politics, or is that just some random insane shit you chose to say instead of having to take an honest look at your position? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  10. So you believe that Trump is fucking with the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of people for the sole purpose of pure party politics, and you support this? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  11. What does that mean? And haven't you been posting that the wall is crucial? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

That's not what they found out. That's the opinion of a right wing Christian Evangelist propaganda website. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  13. "But, Mr Dent, the plans have been available in the local planning office for the last nine months." "Oh yes, well as soon as I heard I went straight round to see them, yesterday afternoon. You hadn’t exactly gone out of your way to call attention to them had you? I mean like actually telling anybody or anything." "But the plans were on display…" "On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them." "That’s the display department." "With a torch." "The lights had probably gone out." "So had the stairs." "But look, you found the notice, didn’t you?" "Yes, yes I did. It was on display at the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'beware of the leopard'!" Do you want to have an ideagasm?

  18. You're incapable of admitting that Trump could have ever done anything wrong, so thats no surprise. Not true, what is true is that he is leading our country and the world in a new direction. So that means he gets a free pass from you for using the exact language you just criticised from a dem? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  19. You're incapable of admitting that Trump could have ever done anything wrong, so thats no surprise. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  20. About 10 seconds in to her first reply she said that America is the only country in the world that values life. That valuing human life is a uniquely American attitude. I wish that was a joke, but it's not. At least with Spicer you could tell he was uncomfortable telling the Administration's lies. Sanders on the other hand is devoid of shame. She'd tell you Trump was the second coming of Jesus in the same tone of voice she'd tell you the time. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  21. What does the 'S' stand for in your favourite acronym? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  22. Obviously. The accent is implied But why would they go to jail? No one can catch them. In mountain biking circles there are numerous cases of trail use nazis sabotaging runs with things as lethal as neck high wire and covered pits with punji sticks. They risk going to prison for GBH, or even attempted murder. They still do it, because they're so confident they wont get caught. As you just demonstrated so perfectly, noise abatement nazis can feel the same way with drones - with the added bonus that they don't even need to risk having someone's death or paralysis on their conscience. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  23. Which makes your blase dismissal of any similar threat to local DZs "because they wouldn't get away with it' all the more naive, right? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  24. Yes. If he spares some from the consequences and not others, for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with how well they lived, or even tried to live, a moral life. If you were saying he spared everyone but still tried to encourage morality that would be one thing, but you've been extremely clear that this is not the case. But will it, though? The concept of original sin still applies, right? Given that, is it actually possible to be a living, breathing, awake human being and not be commiting some kind of sin at any given time? If it was a moral religion, knowing who to confess to would be irrelevant. But you said the text you quoted meant the exact opposite of what it actually said. So aside from the fact that you lied about it for no apparent reason, how does it actually help your cause? But why should that be the way it is? If it's neither good or bad, why should any father worry about it? If it's neither good nor bad to take care of your child, what's wrong with not taking care of them? Cool. Now what about all the other stuff? If you're a competent doctor, are you supposed to go and work pro-bono for an Aids charity in Africa, for instance? Because some people do. Is that nothing special, just business as usual? The problem is that's just a meaningless truism. If everything was bad, that would just be the way everything was. It wouldn't be bad anymore, it would just be. That's equally true. The only difference is in how you choose to describe the situation, not the situation itself. And by the way, earlier you said un-believers couldn't do good without god. Are you now saying there is no good with or without god? Can even god do no good?) And frankly for us humans, it doesn't matter either way. Now you've redefined the scenario we need to redefine the problem - it's amoral to condemn people who've strived all their lives to do as little bad as possible while letting off the hook those who've made barely any effort but chose the right book to worship. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  25. They will be? Like, all of them? Now, you’ve been pretty clear on a number of occasions that you’re not concerned with things that don’t directly effect you sphere of experience. Is MS13 active in the mountains of rural Georgia? If not, why are you so concerned with them? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
