You're in the other thread telling Bill that you're totally open minded about supporting democrats and you aren't looking for any excuse not to support one - and you're in here calling the guy an idiot for a single, simple slip of the tongue. And now you refuse to say your premise (that it demonstrates a lack of logic among dems as a whole) is mistaken. The other guy who is one of the most staunchly right wing posters on the whole site? There is no reason at all except for partisan bias that you won't admit that this guy simply made a slip of the tongue and your whole thread is an overreaction. Allow me to contrast two recent events: Democrat says Trans-female instead of trans-male - Turtle starts a thread to call him an idiot and won't accept any other explanation. Trump says there were airports in the revolutionary war - Turtle says he may be inarticulate but people don't give him enough credit for how smart he is. Question - does Turtle treat left and right differently?

I wonder how far prosecutorial immunity goes. They broke the law, and in effect entered into a criminal conspiracy with a known serial paedophile to protect him from justice and actively enable him to (most likely) continue raping and pimping a huge number of children. I cannot fathom what could have lead all of these people to so completely abandon their duty in favour of such a vile and morally repugnant course of action - and it would be only right if they could also be charged with his crimes as I believe could and would happen if they were ‘normal’ people.

Battle vehicles were used. You can't manufacture this anger at people using the word 'tank' wrong then justify it by quoting someone who says 'battle vehicle'. That's just stoopid. Again, I have absolutely no idea how you think any of those things support the point you are trying to make. Who was it who told everyone it would be a big beautiful arade with tanks in it. If it's not the objection, then what does the type of armored vehicle have to do with whether any outrage was misguided? Right, but it's also a thread that is utterly devoid of any outrage at the existence of a supposed tank parade.

I would like to know who you’ve been talking to who specifically said that their objection to the parade was solely based on the idea that it would have main battle tanks in it. It would be really interesting to find out who was thinking that.

I think whatever system they use to select Judges in those parts is broken. I think it also shows pretty clearly that social justice (or lack of) is a real thing. -
Post something that doesn't deserve to be snarked at. Again, you posted that true liberty existed in the USA when possession of it depended on your political leanings. Freedom that depends on political affiliation doesn't sound like liberty to me, it sounds like Stalinism. If you're genuinely trying to clarify things, clarifying that would be a good start.
