I am almost done with my Mirage order form, and I have yet to choose how this rig will fit. Does anyone know the difference when they say "Fits tight, medium, loose" I would like the rig to be able to be pulled down tight, not tight as I am putting it on, any suggestions here? Up High!!

I had a friend help me with my harness sizing for my new rig. Has anyone here ever done this with a non-experienced person, or non-skydiver and had good fitting results when they got the rig back? Up High!!

OK everyone, my pics are here. I wanted to ask you all if I should keep the silver trim only to the container area (original plan), or allow it to flow throughout the whole harness? Like down the chest rings and leg strap area. What do you think of this color scheme. It is a paint doc. but use you imagination. Please help me here, I cant decide!! I am having a rough time lately trying to finalize my decision with Mirage on my brand new rig. I am just really un-easy about my trim with the color scheme? Any suggestions, people? Up High!!

[/urI was wondering if I could get some feedback here. These are pictures of what my rig will look like if I keep the silver trim evrywhere. I just wanted it to be on the container, not the actual harness area, like around the leg straps and chest ring covers, what do you all think? I thought it would look its best to keep the black trim for the harnes area, and the silver trim just for the container. I wanted to avoided a blocky looking rig.. Does anyone know how good a Mirage G4 container would look like if I just kept the silver trim on the actaully container, and left it away from the harness to not make it look blocky? Here is a pic of my rig I had in mind. Up High!!

Well, as far as a good book for the basics of freefly, I am all out of answers. However, a great video(s) is "Worthless Eye Candy" it features many great flyers with Olav Zipser breaking down the moves in slow- Mo with his partners at the Space Games, which he helped demonstrate to the judges what the moves are supeposed to look like, which the judges used later to base the scoring on. I learned some new moves myself from that video, and I think it should be viewed by all free flyers, dont forget the infamous "Olav" video. Damn. If you just sit and watch that video all the way through, you will be amazed at what those guys can do, but thats where all the practice comes in to play, so buy them both and start learning... Partyboy Up High!!

Yea, dont be fooled on some low price idea. They have fixed rates, and hourly wages, your gonna pay$$, sorry man, with that piece of machinery, yea. Do this drain the battery all the way down, then with a full charge, try it again. Sometimes, these devices pull back their lenses in certain modes, or power saving features. I have a sony dcs-p92 digital camera, and when I am on idle for a bit, or SWITCH to a different mode, the lenses zooms back as well, man your camera is probably fine, were you the guy that didnt read his manual, lol. Up High!!

yea its always going down, I hate it, but its there man, I had the same problem, but it came back up like a week later, and as of now I cant get it either...? Up High!!

I ve seen some of the cannons, and yes they are nice, but the sony still has the game on lock down. If you are the type of person who has the money to but a beginner camera, then like 300 jumps later, buys a new one?! I dunno, but if you are going to get a camera, then you better buy a nice one, cause it will last a long time, and keep current with the latest tech., by the way make sure the damn thing has fire-wire, try downloading digitl video through usb port, Hahaha, do you have 4-6 hours of spare time versus, 10-20 min? Yea. Up High!!

Wow my parents Have 3 years, and I ve been to Many AA meetings and seen some pretty motivating things. Keep it up. I forgot the serinity prayer, but I would say it ot you, God bless the things you HAVE changed, peace, happy 5th, by the way what chip is that??? Up High!!
