First Mucho Base and a few days later this arrived :) Except for the shit weather, exams and no jumps this week has actually been... Pretty shitty But it would be worse without this vid.. Nice work

I do.. Somewhere.. I think they on my work computer.. Will take some time before I can access them. From memory around 25 minutes to 13000ft. This was at MTW. (Simulated paradrop, 3 passengers and almost full tanks) With 40% less fuel consumption, price of A1 vs AVGAS, Targeted 3000h TBO, no 50h service and far less movable parts my guess is that we will be seeing a lot of this engine at dropzones around the world. If anyone else has more information please contact me

The SMA is 230HP continuous Still not enough for a 206, but works nice in a 182 according to the skydiving clubs I've contacted (There is at least one in Holland and one in Finland operating them) On their previous web page SMA (before being acquired by the SAFRAN group) mentioned a 300HP under development (As I understood it it was pretty much the same engine as the 230HP one)

I believe the technology will work with WVO, but certification might be a different matter.. I'm sure there are others here more qualified to answer, I've just done some reading on Diesel engines because our 182 only has 300h to overhaul. Replacing the engine with a diesel is one of the options we are looking into (www.smaengines.com) Other diesel resources: www.dieselair.com

Well.. The point here is that these engines does not run on diesel (although they can), they use Jet-A1 :) (This is at least the case for the SMA diesel engines)

Not sure I'm following you? Are you claiming it is not possible to turn a canopy using toggle input? It sounds to me like you are... I watched that clip probably 10 times, noticing how he used toggles to turn the canopy and how fast he was at reaching them. If you see him using riser input we are not talking about the same clip

Im gonna get flamed for this.. So what? I guess you're gonna flame the seller for not checking up on the buyer. In my opinion base equipment is just another piece of goods, just like a skydiving rig or a pack of sugar. What if the AFF bought a skydiving rig and decided to jump off something, would you blame the seller? What is he bought a VX and killed himself skydiving? Still sellers fault? People are stupid and people do stupid things, always have and always will. If it was advertised as a perfect rig for someone finishing AFF I will get in line with you to give the seller a beating though...

If I remember correctly a tent is 150 NOK + 20NOK pr person pr night on the campground, so if you are staying alone the white house is only $2 more a night.. Not what you asked for, but though you might like to know anyway..

I'm much more concerned about something catching the soft housing passing my 3 rings in case of an object strike. Having one riser released while tasting the rocks would really suck.. I think I'm going for L-bars on my next rig.. Sorry for bad picture quality, was packing outside today and only had my phone with me.

Hey, there is my cutie! (Sorry, ment the antenna) The antenna is tricky with few good exit points. I chose to exit from the far right of the lower platform at a 45° angle, in zero wind conditions. This ment canopy opening with the guy wire just below and back of me (45°). Not ideal, but the best I could figure out when up there. Exiting from the tower itself was impossible (or rather, the climb more scary then the guy wire) I haven't seen the movie yet, but it sounds scary and I'm glad he lived. PM me with detail of the jumper if it is anyone I know and take care over there.

Could someone explain a dumb fucker whats wrong with todays setup and what benefits such system gives? Is it to adress the remote possibility that the bridle wraps around the PC and thus preventing it from inflating?
