Why would anybody click on a thread called "Sickening"
caress replied to Deuce's topic in The Bonfire
I did not click on the thread called sickening, I found your thread much more appealing.-Caress (I'm just not into sickening, it's not my style) I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right. -
I think you need to explain to someone that this is a skydiving site that he/she is on. The boogie threads belong here in talk back as well as the event forum. My feeling is that if you are going to come into talk back, only click on the stuff you want to read about and leave the other things alone! I also think that no matter how much pleasure comes from being apart of this family, someone will always find a reason to bitch because they have nothing better to do!-Caress I've learned.... Get your wisdom teeth out! (Don't be dumb like me!)
caress replied to Vallerina's topic in The Bonfire
Hi Vallerina, {{{{{VIBES}}}}} to you for your pain and suffering. My hubby did the same thing. Put it off until it dang near kicked his butt. He is better now too, and I had my wisdom teeth actually shift one of my adult teeth, so I got those puppies out at 13, while still on momie and daddys' insurance. As a dental tech, I've seen some very ugly results for putting that off. I hope your post saves some people from making that mistake.-Caress I've learned.... It is a little chilly here in northern AZ so I made HamHocks and beans with hot fresh bread. Hot filling and delicious!-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

i am disgusted with the lack of parents interest in their children as well. It is part of the problem And I believe the problem is a combination of problems that create one big problem. It would take several million people to have the same revelation about attitude and family all at once to even make a dent in what needs to change. I am concerned about it Heather, but all I can do is my part with my kids and my community for now. The issues with our childrens' education is why my hubby and I live where we do now. For the most part, We live in a small town where everyone know one another, and we are on a first name basis with all the teachers, and the principal, and for that matter, the superintendant of schools.I am also fortunate to be home with my kids most of the time, and not many parents are able to do that anymore, and that is part of the key. Both parents working, makes it tough on the kids. Some folks don't have a choice about that. I care, just don't have the answers to fix it.-Caress I've learned.... No I think homemade is better, and the more I do it the more better it tastes. I love to cook other stuff too. Homemade crembrule'. Heck I even love bisquits and gravy from scratch, and it really isn't that difficult. Actually all I did was go to the library, checked out a book and came home and wrote down all the recipes I wanted. Following directions is not hard. Sometimes the stuff I make is time consuming, but love for my friends makes it all worth it.-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

Yummy food is yummy food, and I like to cook chinese food at home. I like sweet and sour pork from scratch, beef and broccoli, egg flower soup, egg rolls, pork lo mein, and hot tea- I know it started off with a burger from speedracer, but I like my veggies. I can also kick some butt with an asparagus/chicken dish. -Caress

I agree with Ivan, who says that you have to be black to African-American? To suspend the child for running-WRONG. What are we teaching these kids by doing this? I hope that something positive comes out of this incident. Life is not fair, I don't need proof of that it rears its ugly head everyday to remind me!-Caress I've learned.... To be the safest and best skydiver you can be, it is important to exercise, learn to cook and eat well, and keep your weight good. I also agree with JSaxton-have sex when you are not jumping. That makes for healthy exercise, and plenty of good eating. And you can also keep your mind healthy with some good peaceful quiet time. Turn off that video stuff, and read and learn more about skydiving. If you have questions about what you are reading, then you can always ask this site. It helps alot.-Caress I've learned.... Dagny, when ever I go to Florida, I will definetly cook you an entire lunch of whatever chinese food you wish, that is a promise. My hubby says I rock at chinese food at home, and it would be an honor to cook for you anyday!-Caress

How many Skydivers smoke? (legal tobacco products)
caress replied to Praetorian's topic in The Bonfire
That was an inspiration to quit. Skydive-or-smoke? I'd rather jump, and feel the rush of freedom in my soul, rather than kill myself slowly till I couldn't breathe anymore. However, I know it is difficult.-Caress -
That was touching John. I would have not ever known that had you not taken the time to post it. What an admirable platoon of soldiers to have had there. WOW!-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

Sweet and Sour Pork made from scratch, along with beef and broccoli, and some rice. should have made egg rolls too, but I guess fresh made egg flower soup will be fine with some hot tea.-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

Take a Break Take a break for once, step back and re-approach reality after taking some time out for a change. the strain of being so loyally and faithfully absorbed could be ever so costly. The commitment to society's demand- your brain permanetly pressed on remaining responsable. Such a commendable and appreciated effort from your dedicated heart. those whom you provide for are well kept and cared for. Aside from your nightly slumber, it is best to take a break. Don't give anyone but yourself your attention. Breathe for a while where you find peace and tranquility. slip away and visit your greatest depths. for if you disregard a frequent "check in" with yourself, the cost could be the stranger to yourself. Further the distance, the greater the chance of being lost. Leaving anxiety in your mind. Take a break for balance is the answer that many fail to find. I've learned.... Yes you need a license. You must manifest your jumps if you want to jump with others at a DZ. Also if you are planning to keep your USPA status, it is a must. If you wish to go to boogies, and Rantoul(WFFC) you actually need a B license. Many people do the necessary paperwork, it can't be that difficult. You are just frustrated. Get some rest because you are wasting your energy by allowing it to make you angry, and address it with a fresh state of mind. If you did AFF, you can ace this challenge. I understand the need to vent, but the requirements exist for a reason.-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

I don't vote, because I do not care for the choices that are put before me, I can't even trust them. i live here because I was born here, and I do like it here. I just do not trust the government, and I do not care for alot of the things it chooses to do. That is my freedom to have that opinion, and I'll keep it thank you. Why would you want me to vote for someone I know nothing about. I think they are all liars. I cannot in good conscience vote for a liar. If you want to continue this disscussion then PM me, I only posted here to answer the original question, and I think posting this discussion in this thread is rude.-Caress I've learned....
