My opinion is about the same as the majority in this post. I've recently moved to the US from Brazil and have only gone to Deland since then. It's been about a year know since i've moved and of all the times i've been there it was just about 2 weeks ago that finally I jumped a 2-way with a skydiver from germany that was misplaced as I was. Still it is a very organized DZ but I was jumping less and less due to fact that I was doing only solos. There is a boogie planned from the 23rd threw the 6th of January 2004, I'm planning to give it a try to see if I will meet a few people and get myself in some jumps. I haven't gone to sebastian or ZHills witch are farther away from my home but I assume after what I have read in this post that If I don't have luck with Deland I will have to drive the extra miles. One thing that I've noticed is that these other DZ's promote fun activities like helicopter jumps, lower cost on certain days on jump tickets and fun activities. You can see all this in there calendars on there websites. While Deland's calendar practically has only official AFF training, Swoop competition and other " SERIOUS" stuff.

not certain... my cypres opened my reserve. I was having fun on a 2 way with a friend and suddenly he opened 2 seconds later I feel the pull. We were having so much fun we forgot to open. Got myself a warning from the dropzone and landed in the middle of the city with cars and electricity polls everywhere. Very scary.

Anyone know if Skydive Space Center in florida has activities in mid-week. Wednesday for example??

?? Recently skydived with a guy from germany that actually uses a watch that has built in Altimeter. Is it safe?? Is it accurate?? What brand out there is recommended if any. How many readings per second must it have for it to accurately read while skydiving?? Thanks ahead!!!

Well no one was able to help me figure out what camera would work with the PC-5 Case i currently have. Are the dimensions of the PC-5 more like the sony 330 or the 105?? thank you

Hi!!! My name is Frankie and I have recently moved to the US. Started skydiving in BRAZIL 2001 and loved it!!! My problem... I have a RAWA helmet due to the fact that the manufacturer lives there, and my case is for a Sony PC-5. I no longer have that camera. I would like to know of any current sony camera that would fit in that case. Thank you
