    Rest In Peace, Ron. We didn't jump in the same circles, but the Holiday Boogie at Eloy was where we bumped into each other for years. I always made him pose for a photo with me, which he reluctantly did. I'll look for them and put them up here. You could always spot him in a formation in his RED and YELLOW Racer. Russell M.     Well, bear in mind that, at the time, I was a 19 jump wonder. I recall the group getting on the plane and me taking the soon to be sunset take off group shot. It was gettin dark. My recollection was all the hooplah and what was said after they completed it. Long time ago. Many of the people in the picture still jump. They would know, more precisely, what the story was.     It's been about 24 years since Dave, the founder of Spaceland, League City, and turbines in Texas, passed on. I found a negative of the Ash Dive participants and scanned it in a nice resolution here This is a hardy bunch, because all are still kicking and most are active in skydiving today.     When mine walk back in the harness is not properly adjusted, because I've undone the chest and belly and let out the leg straps.     I use option of re-attach on the front of pax harness. I've heard the war story of an instructor gettin a sleeve caught in one swinging out and attaching itself to his jumpsuit. His hand (with toggle) was forced to remain down. Too low. He lucked out and freed it in time. When they dangle they clunk against knees as you walk back in. Russell M.     My YouTube or FB videos are crunched down to 90 seconds. Of course, if student uploads it will be full length. I always disconnect sides and reconnect on the front of the pax harness.     Hey Russel, Have you found anymore negatives with Chris in them? I'm sure I'll find some more as I go through the pile. BTW, didn't I meet you at Skydive Houston one time around '99? Do you have a daughter name Coleen (or similar name) who just started jumping around that time? I was a 3L at the time. I was at SDH for many years. Started doing tandems there in '99.     One night in Decatur in February 1983 at his pad at the dropzone. I'm sure it was a Friday, because I would go out there to be ready for my students bright and early.     I am a meat missle. In the beginning, I wanted a BIG canopy, so I got a 425. Sonuvabitch lineovered every fifty jumps. Then I got a Sigma 395. Never functioned, until I sold it to the DZ. After that, I got a SG 370, which never mal'd until I packed it. NOW, I jump a Sigma 340 on a Micro Sigma Rig, and it is Da BOMB. Love it. Only time I chopped it was due to packer locking the brakes.
