    635 tandems and 3 chops. All cutaways happened during about a 325 jump window on an EZ 425. I replaced it with a Sigma 395 that has been flawless for about 155 jumps. All were lineovers that were probably packed in. There were FOUR more spinning line overs on the same canopy that I worked with and cleared. Add to that one more chop after I gave the canopy to the DZ and this EZ 425 had EIGHT mals in 400 jumps. Sigma canopies rock.

    It is a plastic "shot glass" sold at Walgreens during Halloween. It's sturdy and has a very nice grip. The only concern I have is someone stepping on it in the packing area and breaking it.     I may have posted this some time in the past, but I'm not sure. This is a Texas Supreme Court case about liability waivers where the waiver in question was rejected. The requirements of a valid waiver, according the the Texas Supremes, are set forth. I'm curious to hear about cases in other states where a DZ might have defended against a lawsuit and either won or lost on the waiver. I have, in the past, put a waiver that withstands the TX test under the nose of plaintiff's counsel during an ongoing case and it made them go away. Russell M.
