No, no at all. I see useful tools for comunity building, and tools for making people thinking and pulling the same way. I also believe the wealth we have in Europe, comes from the way of living, as the culture and religions have formed us into. Many good people are christian, and many are muslim, but there is some people who is hungry for the power it gives, and that is no good. What do you think?

The truth! Whatever is going to be defined god, or who ever, what ever created us must wonder what a hell went wrong during the experiment. Life is to great to obey manmade books or manmade stories about historic places creating so much trouble for people all over the world, but hey Mekka and Jerusalem is a good tourist destination for the believers, and who knows what the energy putting in to those places can create. Espen took home the Pro BASE title as well today in Lauterbrunnen. Will be interesting to see the line up for the next places. Congratulations Espen!

Formula one and 100 meter sprint is still those two sports we all know who is the world champion right? Or should I say Nascar champion? Who knows 800 meter, 3 000, maraton champions, if you are not related to the sport yourselves. Sorry I do not try to be cocky here, and for sure it matters to those who is going to buy suits for the same purpose, but you and me know what people want, even they are not capable to what their "heroes" can do! Also remember I said one of the arenas ;-)

I guess skydivers measure wingsuits from what is happening at the base scene. Base is "Formula one!" Hard to measure what is happening up there in the blue sky, especially when all is flocking with bent knees flying at stall speed. Close visuals and real racing is what they need for the future. And of course profiled athletes who want to fly their products. World BASE Race is one of these arenas where you can prove your ahtlete with your wingsuit is the best.

Next step for wingsuit producers, should be to make them a bit more comfortable for women, by adding breast cups to them.

About time to show power at World BASE Race next year? I am going to change the new rule to be "Wingsuit need a proven arm release system". To only restrict it to be cut away cables is not right for the future developing of equipment who wants to compete at the race. However, bitching on internet... it is funny to see how the groups team up like bikers against each other. I like to see flying, and that is what you guys are best at, but to be the world fastest flying human being, you guys have to show up and prove it.

I would love to see more different suits next year, and there is some proto types we did not allow this year, which maybe comes next year. Tony suits do not have any racers attending Norway, but there was one in Swiss last year, and I am sure they will come next year. Maybe an idea to ask Tony to support his fastest flyers to get over here? We will have new rule about "proven cutaway system for wings. I understand Tony suit do not have that, but have sleeves. I would like to hear your experiences about the sleeves, and if any of you had any problems with them. This is a cross post from another forum as well the types of the different suits present at WBR First of all I guess the jumpers have trained a bit more specific for the race in mind (even they do not want to admit) There was some attitude change this year, and a bit more focused about flying fast, and not showing up for fun. Also 20 jumpers got excellent time to practice at Hellesylt before the event at Innfjorden. Exit technique have improved, so have also their flying. You could hear less noise from most of the top flyers, that means they fly cleaner and have less drag. More flyers have V3 and low profile rigs. Equipment have not changed since last year. I know some few did personal modification. New this year, is that Espen proved that you do not have to be heavy and just "dive" down to win. He followed his plan to fly the most efficient route (the shortest way) which also includes being the most aerodynamic flyer. Frode is 80 kg Espen is 72 - 73 kg Robert is 80 kg Next year I will try to register more data about the Athletes and equipment. Frode had next best time on 18.56 which is 0,4 improved from last year. He had 33 and 36 sec in canopy time on both his best times. Espen had more than 2 minutes canopy time. 28 suits was from Phoenix 22 was Vampire 3 4 was Phantom 2 2 was Vampire 2 2 Pressurized Twenty G2 2 Birdman 1 Draco 1 Tony suit present but did not compete

All top 8 had Vampire 3 and 7 of them had Hybrid rig. All times below 19:00 was with Hybrid. Ronny who fly very consistent, changed his rig to Hybrid and did personal best at 18.69 That was quite interesting to see, and all his times at Hellesylt was also very consistent around the same numbers.
