I only recently learned this acronym. I'm going down east for my mom's 80th birthday and was checking out the student gear that a few dropzones have because my son is still on student status. Several of them responded to my request saying their gear was TAS. I didn't have a clue when I first saw TAS. I've learned a lot of new acronyms in the last 18 months. I still think they should be called AOD's and, damn it, a PC is a high performance round canopy.

So I gotta ask...... Did they fix the screw up with the table/bed? I'm hoping that they made that right! It made me laugh to see the carpenter disclaim responsibility for it not working, after he had screwed it together wrong! BTW, I really enjoyed watching the show... hope the Christening was fun! I think that one has to be careful when forming opinions based on documentaries. These films are often produced by groups that have an agenda that they want to promote. Per a previous posting, even Greenpeace has admitted that they produced their piece primarily to raise funds to support their other efforts and that the sealing situation is really isn't that bad. Its been said here that very young animals are targeted. Get thee to a rigger woman and have thine gear inspected (but its probably fine). I bought my first set of gear used in 1976. The only new gear I have ever purchased was just 1 year ago and in the meantime my g/f bought new used gear and when my son gets gear it will be used. Your rigger will inspect it and make recommendations for things that can be done to make it better. Once the rigger has assembled the rig and made any necessary changes for safety you should feel a lot better about your gear. -- Edited because my computer still has trouble understanding my typing. Its down to the last day of bidding and still --- no bids. I give this guy credit for an idea that might have gotten him a new canopy and some jump money. Just doesn't look like its going to pay off. Not being much of an eBay-er I've heard that most bidding happens as the the close time draws near but I have no experience to say that. I guess it's wait and see time. If this pays off I might run the same idea here in Canada. Molson's or Labatts..... you must need a skydiver to advertise your wares just like in the old days. If you want something low maintenance look for an older (45-50) divorced man with either older or no kids. Typically they can be left alone for at least a week without dying because by that age they know how to cook and do laundry. Just ask my g/f....
