Funny sidefact about the 2nd handle: It's usually called a "shit-handle" in Germany, because you only have to pull it as a AFFI, if shit happens ;)

Yes they have a tripod screw on the bottom. At least the CA6 has one, because I had one in my hand yesterday. The CA6 is splash-proof, too. And for the angle design.. Isn't it better to have that angle for doing 4way video and tandems? I saw many cameras mounted that way..

Did anyone try them in freefall? They capture on SD cards, which should be reliable even in our conditions.. They even have a HD 720p Version of it, it records up to 60fps, and they are really slim and leightweight.. Ideal for a sidemount, too! Here only - : I see no way how to fit an optical lense to it.. Hey, I am 5'9'' and just went from 183lbs (83kg) to 165lbs (75kg) in 6 weeks.. I did no sports at all and was just lazy..I just changed my eating habits (no meat, no candys, no softdrinks) and started to do some workout now. It's better to loose some kg's first and then start workout, because muscles are heavier than fat. Now the big challenge is to hold the weight.. I didn't do it especially for wingsuiting, but for my fallrate in skydiving in general.. I'm happy with it and it was really easy.. HTH Max

Alcohol IS A DRUG. Go and look it up the dictionary if you don't believe me. In fact its the most commonly used drug in the United States and is legal for adults over the age of 21. I know more than 10 skydivers who have a serious drinking problem, but no skydiver who has a problem because of his consumption of marijuana or pot. Marijuana might be illegal in your state, but there are places where it's perfectly legal (and there are dropzones, too..). Edit2Add: I think it's clear that ANY drug consumption (except coffee&ciggys) during OR before the jump activites is strictly forbidden, EVERYWHERE.. We are talking about post jumping behaviours..

Alcohol is a drug. Cigarettes are drugs.. Even coffee (coffeine) is a drug... So I guess no DZs are "drug free".. It all depends on which drugs, how much and when.. If he is doing ecstasy during the jump operation I would ban him, but if he smokes pot after the work is done and the customers are gone, I would say it's ok.. Sure, in neither cases the DZ is allowed to advertise with "drug free" DZ.. Just my .2c

I don't know if this is true or not.. 2 years ago, Sean McCormack told me a similar story about a tunnel instructor.. He had more than 300 hours in the tunnel and is a pro flyer.. He started skydiving and made his AFF in 5 Jumps and was on a huge flocking dive with all the pros (Olav, Omar, etc..) on his 20th Skydive.. He outflew most of the guys in this dive, but surely still had a huge student rig on his back with a 220 Manta or something.. Imagine that picture!! He ended his skydiving career after a few more jumps because of fear and now is working in the tunnel again.. Does anybody know that guy?

He was an awesome cameraguy.. I really like his old 16mm stuff he showed once to me. I wonder what happens to his whole film archive.. I would be happy to organise a cutter and a steenbeck to get it all together.. RIP Eddie
