I remember 42 as my first reserve. How exciting not to die. Make some magic or whatever to deploy stable. What goes around, comes later.

Finally! First time jumper. Tips?

How things are going.. some day, next century I will be Skydiving Instructor. One advice will survive: "Imagine you're a sack of potatoes and act upon". It's not good advice but it's mine. What goes around, comes later. -
Unbelievable how crazy fast they pass by And how incredibly low they seem to deploy If it was only once in a lifetime - I'd feel gratitude forever. Really cool becoming one of those

are you serious? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4VixiGLweY&feature=plcp What goes around, comes later.

No problemo, just blink and we'll manage to help. (it's a universal skydiver's call for 'get it done already') I hope you'll remember this

This is crazy! I felt the opposite from head down to box...that, this can't be coincidence What goes around, comes later.

Yes, from time to time, I kinda enter some waves like in the windy sea! And it wobbles me around. I was afraid to ask about it here What goes around, comes later.

...and I remember one reserve opening that took less than 210 ft in almost a second, it was RSL induced. I think it was PD 170.edit: from almost no vertical speed So, the question is only logical. What goes around, comes later.

yes :( I wondered if different mindset would've brought less tragic outcome. Anybody's opinion is welcome. Thank you all.
-
Now we're talking, would you hop&pop or pop&hop
-
Survival is keyword. Get serious, what's wrong with it, am I going to bring down a crashing plane? Oh, am I going to disrupt your crouching position? Would you jump at 300ft and get stable before pull?
-
For some reason plane is going down.. I'm not sure how LOW we are but I'm SURE I wanna jump. If there's no time to open reserve and tuck reserve PC/strap anywhere in the plane - I'd just pop it and jump instead of jump and then pull. How stupid is that? What goes around, comes later.

I like to think that it was about " I can do it cheaper, sooner and probably make more money out of it than Jeb would". Matter of different approach. In the end, Jeb is pro base while Gary is pro stuntman -
Is it possible that Gary only walked out of boxes? Well... it's his profession, to be a body double (and they're still searching for the real guy, probably Jeb) What goes around, comes later.

and at least she's made an attempt to overcome those everyday obstacles in an unusual way. However public they would be (the Goal is the goal) What goes around, comes later.

I've seen some fat menaces. I like your thinking, at least. Preference aside, this is serious subject and I'm on mission to protect deep pain of dying pets from miss_thinkers. What goes around, comes later.
