Well, the point itself is inelegant, I'm sorry to say that I'm not sorry.

Would you rather accidentaly kill fellow skydiver or be killed by one? What goes around, comes later.

A comparison to Red Bull Stratos. The uninflated balloon weighs 3,708 pounds If they used eight baloons, it would double the weight, hence not reaching ceiling of 120,000ft. If they wanted to reach that altitude AND be safe, I guess it would be a hundred times more expensive - impractical. I expect to see many of those unsafe enterprises before one safe. edit: I could've be more clear. If they used an infrastructure of 8 smaller baloons instead of this one big - it would cost a doubled weight and brought safer flight but also prevent reaching enough high altitude.

No, no, you missed it, air is a liquid which you can't compress... and when you do - air becomes a gas but it's a liquid... beacuse "fluid, liquid - it's the same" Very good stuff, amusing to say at least
-
Am I the only one who enjoyed this amusing discussion? I starts at 2:25 with: "Air is a non-compressible liquid". - John Sherman and ends at 6:00 with: "For the purposes of this particular thing, I'll agree with you". - Visitor

So I've heard too "New York now leads the world's great cities in the number of people around whom you shouldn't make a sudden move". - David Letterman "Anytime four New Yorkers get into a cab together without arguing, a bank robbery has just taken place". - Johnny Carson What goes around, comes later.

Yes, I can tell, you all are burning out of curiosity, so, this guy is shining, jumping, and whatever regulars do. False alarm, Thank You all for watching!

Pretty obvious why it's Experimental. Opposite of obvious but still Experimental is this one with 1500fpm climb rate ...yet only Chileans and Finlanders get to legally jump out of those What a sexy Experiment What goes around, comes later.

In that case, I want to qualify: - a two feet high block is to become a windproof flowerpot. Chopped pieces, together with a wine bottle, ended up as a vase, a gift to my mom's 75th birthday. She lies that it's beautiful. Happy smiling, girls (your turn VB ) What goes around, comes later.

This is gotta be an accidental posting here instead of on FB What goes around, comes later.

"Ready, Set, GO!" - that's not too long. Now, whether there's 5 or 55 sec freefall after - for me it's like a somewhat interesting movie and it takes time to bring it all back for cold minded analysis. Much easier to fly again and do some comparative analysis. You know, more data there is, sharper the results are. It's all about getting data, I think. Wider the bandwidth - longer the time seems. p.s. I read somewhere that human brain is processing 72 Gb per second? What goes around, comes later.

Your wish won't work for me this weekend.. or the next one ($) but... I wish you all EXCITING and safe! What goes around, comes later.

I've got no news. Pretty sure he's not a forum visitor. And it's only 2nd jumping weekend 2013. However, even if it's true intention, slim chance he'll get away with it.

No, no, I won't bother you all, with what I did and how much time we all spent trying to help. (approx. a lot of) But using DZ? No way with me around. edit: and my sig line is, as always, exactly appropriate What goes around, comes later.

Thank You all, for your comments. This way or that way, he won't be allowed to mess with our groovy DZ times.

There's thread in 'Incidents' with this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwhPHZbk6rk&feature=youtu.be For me, a 3 ft high chop is better than "downplaned" What goes around, comes later.

When I confront him to all of us around, I guess he won't be allowed to jump without AAD and the word will spread. I never said he's a friend of mine. Going in accidentally - it's O.K. but intentionally - exactly the opposite, I hate those people. That's sacrilege. What goes around, comes later.

For the sake of sharing ideas, try to believe it is true concern of mine. Of coarse I've informed the right folks about it but I am sharing this as it may happen to anybody, anywhere and I'm not deaf to alternative suggestion. Yes, internet forum should be the last place for seeking especially this kind of advice. Nevertheless I'm still doing it. What goes around, comes later.

So... the other day, this guy called me asking for input on how safely to disconnect his RSL. As a matter of fact, his private issues aren't so private anymore, therefore I tend to believe he's in for a suicide (no AAD also). Inglorious bastard as I am, a plan is to wait for a DZ meet, disclose his intentions (in my opinion) and then watch what happens. Any subtle suggestion? think about it for twelve minutes If there's anything unsettling to the stomach, it's watching actors on television talk about their personal lives. - Marlon Brando

Can you land a two_out in down_plane configuration safely? And here's a "lots of dollars" question: What altitude is "too late to cutaway from a downplane"? What goes around, comes later.
