All I can say is WOW!!! The scenary was simply marvelous. I actually enjoyed the shuttle ride to the airport. It was so quiet and serene at the Farm with the sounds of frogs, birds, bugs (my favorite) and canopies. I left Sunday with such a sense wholeness. Thanks for that. Marianne Edited to add: My 3 friends from the department that did tandems have been showing their video all week. Too funny. One video has one of my exits!

I don't see it. Please don't give up on us. We are there. We do listen. We do have respect for the sport and for those with more experience. This is not a textbook/video sport. This is a hands-on, in your face, be safe and smart sport (if you want to stay around). New jumpers rely on you for guidance, support, understanding...I could go on and on...There are those of us who consider you guys invaluable. Absolutely priceless. We yearn to soak up the wisdom and the knowledge each of you instill in us. Some people tend to be too 'spongy' and leave a bad name for the rest of us. We used to play Bloody Mary in a dark bathroom, staring into the mirror, same her name 3 times and turn the lights on. Your eyes play some crazy shit on you after sitting in a dark room, repeating a scary name an inch away from a mirror and then BAM, lights on and AAAAAHHHHHHEEEEEKKKKK I like coconuts. That's just it, when I relax I arch more b/c I'm very flexible. I've jumped w/ experienced jumpers and their comment was, "I've never seen anyone arch that much. Your feet were straight above you." My body was completely relaxed, or so I thought. I think you're definatley right about relaxing my mind though, thanks! I like coconuts. My body is still in hard arch mode. I'm working on flying relative and docking with not much luck. I've been told I need to fly flat. How do I do that? Video would help, I know. What exercises or ground training can I do to 'teach' my body to fly flat. Focus on de-archingin freefall maybe? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I like coconuts. Losing my sight or my hearing. I don't know which would be worse I have so much admiration for the deaf and blind. To not hear music or see a sunset... Definately my biggest fear. Honestly, that's why I decided to go ahead. I had attended a class the Wednesday before and have been practicing a bit and watching alot. Huge boogie (by my newbie standards), tons of people, and one packer. So instead of waiting for what could've easity been an hour + I figured what the hell. I had people watching over my shoulder thank goodness. I was confident, but still a bit skeeerrred!! It was all good and I packed it for my next jump as well. I'm renting gear and this is a great way to save $5. Learn to pack ASAP. You will pat yourself on the back later. I like coconuts. You can break them open and they smell like ladies lying in the sun!
