There are quite a lot of us here. . .I usually jump at Elsinore. Most of us will be at Perris for the Memorial Day Boogie this weekend. And the next weekend is a newbie boogie/seminar thingy at Elsinore called Bridge the Gap. I see you don't have your A license yet. Have fun finishing your progression and hurry up and come play with us. Don't know much about San Diego but Elsinore and Perris both have 2 way skills camps (Its called ExCel at Elsinore) that are free coaching. Great way to meet other jumpers and hone your skills after you get off student status. . . WOW! I think I have so many. . .to pick a favorite. . .awe, I will just list a few. . . My fondest must be when I was 4 years old getting to go flying in my dad's PT-22. They had to modify the seat harness to strap me in and my dad did some aerobatics with me. It was awesome. . . Learning how to waterski on the Colorado River. . .vacations at Big Bend on the Colorado river. . .floating down the Colorado River on inner tubes and rafts. . .fetching drunks out of the river when they tried to swim across and would get caught up in the current. . .(so could you tell I liked going to the river? Still do). Andrea, the best times I have enjoyed recently are away from skydiving. Its amazing, there still is life after jumping. Lisa, at my DZ (Elsinore), we have a 2-way skills camp. I started going there as soon as I had my A license. 25 jumps. I wasn't very good at first but I learned so much about flying with others. It was great experience. Douva, not necessary to lock yourself into one dropzone here. . .I mean really. . .Just say you will be traveling among the turbo DZs all located within an hour of each other depending on what you are in the mood for on any given day. . .that way you can be free. . . Angela, The fiber in fruit balances out the glucose. When you remove the fiber (i.e.; concentrating just the juice), you remove the balance. Mastication of fruit also signals your brain to fire up your metabolism. Ro, I really don't think it is possible for you to be more giving and helpful. You are always so wonderfully giving. I wish I had half of what you got in that category. That being said, I recently have discovered insecurities in myself that paralyze me from moving forward (which sux damnit. . .I can throw myself out of planes but cannot move forward in life). This is an area in me that REALLY needs to get fixed now.
