I shopped there 2 years ago for my costume. The shop down the street from me has all the same shit for cheaper. -
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Scientologist, and I never will be one, but I find that most people who talk shit about it just go off of what they hear in the media or base their opinion off of some stupid crazy shit Tom Cruise does.

Everything I know about Scientology I learned from an episode of South Park. That's too bad. I'd be willing to bet pretty much everyone who rags on it has no actual personal experience with it.

Just tell the judge that you can't afford to take the time off work because you don't get paid for jury duty. They let go of everyone who said that when I had to go. I was chosen to be a juror and I had a blast. The trial lasted 5 days.

That's apples and oranges. The family in question would have committed a crime (running a red light) and hurt someone else as a result, not the same as having your child nearly drown and some cop slipping and falling on the wet floor of your home. It is not a crime to have a wet spot on your floor, although I do understand that it is a liability. Why is she seeking more money from the family? Why doesn't she go after the insurance of the Police Dept.? Isn't that why they have insurance in the first place?
