We finally got our 135 (Air Carrier) Certificate from the FAA. We spent 2 1/2 years in the pre-certification process before we got the phone call we were next on the list to begin certification. It has been 6 weeks of back and forth with the FAA but we were issued our certificate today.

Andy did a Tandem somewhere in San Diego (I think) and Dwight something or other - a ex navy jumper, was rambling on about how he's never had a problem in his time sport jumping. When asked "so skydiving's safe then?!" he replies: "Oh yeah! You know they say the most dangerous part of skydiving.... is the drive home."

I know how to fly but I don't have my private certificate yet. Working on it, but owning and operating a flight school doesn't leave much time.

I have been trying for years to figure out why people still seem to think that these are "kids movies".

It's COMPLETELY different. Other people's screaming or crying kids drive me nuts, especially if it's one of those kids who throw tantrums all the time. I can tolerate it very well with my own kid. That's why judging how you would be with or tolerate children by using somenoe else's kid is NOT a good idea or way to know.

It's DirecTV, not Direct TV. Anyway, I've had DTV for many years now and have even tried giving other services a shot (including AT&T U-Verse) and DirecTV is the best imo.

given the 7-10 incubation period, this would mostly catch people who brought flu to Mexico. I have heard it has a 48 hour incu period. Where are you getting your info? I'd like to know which is accurate?

I don't know if we are over-reacting or not, I just know that I am a bit scared about this and I'm not taking any chances. If someone is sick they need to stay away from me and if I become sick with Swine Flu symptoms I am going to the Dr. What I want to know is if this turns into a serious pandemic, if it would be better to catch the illness early or later? Would it even matter? I assume you'd be able to get it numerous times if exposed? I have no idea.
