  1. Then why would you even start arguing with me in the first place about it if you knew I was talking about sportbikes?
  2. Are you suggesting that after you take the MSF course, a rider is qualified and has the experience to go out an buy a GSX-R 1000? The MSF course is a learning tool for the basics of riding; it doesn't give you the experience needed to ride a bigger and faster bike.
  3. To plan on a vehicle you don't mind dropping sounds counterintuitive to me. A new rider has a much better possibility of laying it down or dropping it, therefore, to say it'd be smart to start on something that won't cost as much to fix when they do, I don't think is that counterintuitive.
  4. but hey! at least you have a free iPod
  5. That actually did happen to my 250 when I had it years ago. My neighbor knocked on my front door and told me my bike was on it's side on the ground. I went out and sure as shit, it was either knocked over or the wind pushed it. Cracked the front wheel fairing.
  6. Yeah, it works. Maybe now the mod who told me I couldn't post about it will believe what I said.
  7. This saying: "There are the riders who have fallen and the riders who will" Holds true for a reason. Everyone drops their bike at some point or another. It's far different than buying a car.
  8. People seem to think that they need all this power under them when really, I'd put money on it that you wouldn't even push a 600 to it's full potential. It's the latest and greatest trend to get the biggest and fastest bikes out right now which are, but not limited to: the GSX-R 1000, the RC51 and CBR 954. I don't know if it's because it's the cool thing to do or what, regardless, it's not very smart. The average life of a GSX-R is 31 days (statistic I read somewhere). The new 600's are extremely powerful bikes. I'd recommend starting out on an older CBR F2 or F3. Mid 90's . 600cc bike, but it's cheap and you won't lose your live savings to fix it when you drop it, and you will; every rider does eventually. You can pick them up relatively cheap all over the place. edit: Of course, if you want a cruiser type bike, ignore what I just said.
  9. How did she get the jump cancelled? Why if she doesn't have the experience to make the jump does she have the pull to stop it entirely?
  10. Which is why I said "some"
  11. Women are emotional creatures, men are not; that's just how it is. Some women can exert some control with themselves, most can't.
  12. You do realize that some women can't get that wet right? Sometimes it has nothing to do with the guy.
  13. You cannot smoke inside any public building, except *some* bars in California, and I love it. Take that shit outside. Why should I have to breathe your unhealthy smoke so you're not inconvenienced for 5 minutes? Most people who smoke will argue the exact opposite and say " Well why should I have to be outside so you're not inconvenienced with my smoke? My answer to that is: I'm not doing aything to harm your lungs if I stay inside and not smoke, if you smoke inside, you're harming my lungs.
  14. Not really. White is light and black is the absence of light. It's too complicated for me to try to explain, but black really isn't a "color".
  15. They may hurt more because of the pressure needed with some colors, but not because the ink looks different.
  16. I have an AWESOME closing pin ring.... the ring itself is made up of mini sterling silver closing pins in the "69" design all the way around. It's the only one in existance (so far, I got the first one). Thanks to Tony at Square1! I'll take a pic of it later and post it!
  17. Ha! Cute. Did the cops get annoyed or did they find it humorous?
  18. Might want to make that a little more clear next time you post. The title was misleading. Just a thought.
  19. I get Courtney Cox regularly, and I mean, regularly. I love it... I think she's gorgeous.
