    AS an employer I have set rules on internet use and what will and won't get an employee terminated.Hopefully your employer was clear on internet use during business hours.It is no different than a phone policy for a business.I'm just curious how many of us who do post and browse the DZ.com site are in violation of any stated policy.Right now I'm through with patients before lunch and this is usually when I check the site.If your employer had no stated policy on internet use then you have nothing to worry about although they may implement one in the near future.     I just wanted to compliment John on his one armed landing that he pulled off Saturday.His left shoulder was dislocated on exit and he managed to land his canopy using only his right arm.After listening to his ordeal I would think that it would be prudent to practice this manuever up high just in case.Again great job and I hope the shoulder mends quickly.

    I've got a commercial sized blender that I'll bring that should keep'em flowing.Should be a kick ass party.Especially with the San Marcos SOCIAL DIRECTOR present!

    We jump year round at Skydive San Marcos and the winter weather is probably the nicest time of year.hope to see a lot of fun jumpers out to keep this Otter here. Blue Skies

    1:10:1 Traveled to Waller to jump with Lee McMillian on some bigways using the CASA. First jump Sat. morning was#1000. 5-jumps on Sat. and then 5 jumps Sun. with DA BASE that is heading out to Perris for the POPS world record. Got to be one of the superfloaters on the edge of the door.Sure is nice to leave on ready and watch the base chunk out of the plane. Base averaged 120 mph which made moving up and down much easier.Got pied Sun. during one of the dirt dives. one of those pieing me was Eric Santee who took me on my first tandem 4-years ago.Fun fun fun!!!!

    Young lady was lifeflighted out.I don't think that her injury's were as serious as first thought but this is second hand info.She is on an 8-way team with Conway and he may be up to date on the situation.

    I saw tim this saturday evening camera in hand taking pictures at allen flynn and kelli dukes wedding.He said that corporate america was treating him well, much better that 230lbs. tandem students.Hope that he will get the urge to jump again but when you walk out when your at the top of your game says something about the guy.5000 jumps in 9 years,wow!

    cross country from about 10 miles out and 14k. uppers were cranking and only one jumper landed off.spent most of the jump steering the canopy by shifting the weight on the leg straps.I can't wait to do another.

    Hey SpeedRacer, just for your info the first American paratrooper to be killed in a combat-jump operation was a Lt. Dave Kunkle from New York City. He was cut down by a FRENCH Dewoitine fighter after Marshal Henri Petain issued orders for his forces in northwest Africa to "resist the invaders with every means at your disposal." November 8, 1942. If I had my preference of someone in a fox hole next to me I sure as hell would not want a Frenchman.

    Hey snowflake, what style of music does your little brother's band play? Have some friends in the L.A. area and would be glad to send them over. Does little brother want to follow big brothers skydiving exploits? Would love to take him on a tandem,promise a much slower landing

    Its nice to know what are fellow skydivers from other parts of the world think about the good old U.S. of A. policy. All we seem to hear about is what the press feeds us.Lack of communication is a great cause of many problems.I love Aggie jokes as it is my alma mater but some of the freefly jokes are pretty witty

    Hey Brains, drove my 4x4on 2 inches of ice this morning.Lost a friend when she drove off of I-10 just past comfort yesterday around 5p.m. They didn't find her until 12noon today.Texans just don't know how to drive on the cold stuff.Flare

    The old adage in Texas is if you don't like the weather just stick around it will change in a hour.I got in 3 tandem jumps and 3 fun jumps Sunday and today I 've got 1 inch of ice on the ground.San Marcos always seems to have a hole on the sky when all the other DZ's are clouded in in Texas.As far as when to come down just go to the weather.com web site and type in the 78622 area code.

    Winds are usually blowing in from the coast so the spot is over water. pray that no cold fronts blow in,but if that happens the beer stays cold and the coeds will warm up the atmosphere.
