now a few days ago i´ve suggest a few items for gear (harness/container & main/reserve canopies), but they weren´t added in the list. could anyone told me why??? or did it just need more time????

that will be cool if you can do that what skyslut is asking for. or you´ll made a weather link site like the side with the dz. ok when i want to know how the weather is on my home dz i´ve just look out of my window. and when i want to know how windy it´s, i´ve just open my window. cause i life closed to my home dz /about 1 and a half mile.

What kind of camera would you suggest?

First of all you must ask yourself a few questions: What kind of photo/films will i do? How must the quality of the photos/films be? How many money will i spend for this? after all you´re able to use a camera for 100$ (no name) or you´ll use a camera like the canon eos 1 (2800$) or the eos 1 digital ( 4000$) you´ve many options about your camera, i´ll still use only the same type for all. for example: you normally use the canon eos 5, then you can go and buy a second one and prepare it for skydiving (wide lens or fish eye), change the programm (canon is able to help you). and so one. buy all needed equipment for skydiving. -
allways when i see a fancy girl i just think: my rig is much better here´re a few points why: 1. a rig has never migraine 2. when it´s over you can sell it 3. if you bought it new, you really know you was the first one 4. you don´t have to go out with it before you can use it 5. a rig never ask why you´re drunken again

When you´re going to jump next weekend. after that you´re able to say: " i really lived" like fallrate it said!!!!! do allways remember: Who never jumped had never lived!!!!!!!!!!!!

last year a student did it like this: check in check out check in check out check in check out than the jm pulls him out. after his jump he didn´t remember it.

hi leapinlizard, in our skydiving club we´ve 2 youngsters the first one had made his licenece last year he was 14 years old, and the 2nd has started this year and he was 16 years old. in the germany it´s allowed, if your parents say ok, to make your license with 16 years, and if you ask the gpa then it´ll be possible to get the license with 14 years. it´s so simple or??? blues ditch

hi viking, the pic wasen´t bad, but if you´ve used any filter like polarisation and uv it´ll be better. which film did you used? perhaps you´ll go to any good photolab and made a few copies of it whith different filters, i think an orange or a red one will be right, and you can cut the right side away cause the interessting thing on the pic was the skydiver with his canopy, and not the nature around. could you tell me for witch contest you´ll use this pic? what is the theme of the contest? blue skies ditch -

How many jumps before I put on my camera?

hi drosenberg, there´re many skydivers out there they´ve started camera jumping very early (about 70 jumps), i can´t tell you when you´can start jumping with your camera helmet, the best way is to go to a seminar, a lot of great dz offers seminars for camera flyer, just ask them. but don´t forget to be safe allways, what´s about cutaway on your helmet, you´ve one??? and when you start cameraflying do it with tandems or students cause they´ll pull higher than a 4-way or 8-way formation, and if somethings will happen you´ve more time for your cutaway procedere, first the helmet, than the main and then pull the reserve. be safe, good luck and allways blue skies ditch 9276 -
hi ross, i had had one. it´s a great choice, and it would be better if you use an wide angel lens. the sizes are a little different but not much. about the batteries i think they don´t use the same, but i´m not sure. i know very well that the pc 100 use a 7.2 volt batterie , the avaible types from sony for the pc 100 are NP-FM 50, NP-FM 70, NP-FM 90 they´ll cost about 70-160$, the pc 4 or 5 for example just use a 3.6 volt batterie. perhaps you´ll buy you a magazine like digital imaging or any other video magazine and normally there´s a big list with dealers inside. when you live inside the us, you can take a look at www.jandr.com it´s a big shop located in ny. or ask the sony technical support you´ll found it under www.sony.com. i hope i could help you. blue skies ditch 9276

Hi Scottjo, before you´ll change anything i think it´ll be better if you ask your rigger, perhaps he/her can give you any tipps or tricks about packing your canopy. If your rigger can´t give any tipps ask other jumpers that have the same canopy or ask the manufacturer of the canopy. blue skies ditch9276

Hi, i think it´s better to use a wide angle lens, which is wider than yours, like this AF 3,5-4,5/19-35 Tokina offers one about 300$, or you´ll use an fish eye, and i think it´s better you´ll switch of the af mode cause you´ll be too fast for it blue skies ditch9276
