This i see differnt, there's allways stress on the connection, while wearing and/or transporting a rig. And i wont say that the test are bad, no not for billion bucks, but i want to find just something that can hold more! Just want to find a kind of connection that can hold more, nothing else!!! Blue Skies and stay safe The only rings that are worth wearing, are those of my 3-ring-system!!!

I would test not only 3 sec! What happens in a view of a long time in use! Under the points of mechanical stress over a long time on the connection between ripcord and pin! Not only while pulling. There's also a stress on the connection, while wearing and transporting a rig. And after this stress on a connection, the connection can't hold enough, and it can failure. That means that a ripcord has no holding connection to a pin. And i would find a kind of connection that hold longer and more than the actually pin, ripcord connection. Not in a view of a short first stress test, but in a view of a long time use. Without changing any part of the assemblie! Hey, yes it's possible to get such a system in a riser! And the send unit wont be the problem, it could be produced really cheap! But the unit to find is really expensive!!! At this time it would give some products they could located all over the world! The send unit has the size of a cigarette (incl batterie). You can find them in a few expensive cars like maybach, rolls royce. This system is based on the gps system. allready it gives a system in celluar phones to locate them exactly too! But allways the send unit is cheap and small but the receive unit is big and expensive!!! The only tipp i can give to you, make a good pack job and pull stable and then you haven't to cut away! After a discussion in the German Forum called "Stammtisch" here on dropzone.com about reserve pins, i'd like to give all the people who dont understand german any information about! In this discussion we talked about reserve pins that could remove from the ripcord! So i've checked the different kinds of pressing the pin onto the ripcord, and all the results are not that what i want to see. That means all round- and flat- pressed pins are not able to reach a high pull force and they wont reach a good mechanical connection! So in this the pins are not unsafe, but at all the pins could remove from the ripcord! Mostly after a while of testing ! So what could we do! After a few simulations with a programm that is build for the inustrie to make some pull force simulations, we found now a way to get a better connection between the ripcord and the pin, what offers us a higher ability of withstand stress! Now we start the real stress tests for the new kind of ripcord pin connection, and after i got the results, i'll put the results onto my homepage!!! Hi roq, the R.A.G.E. concept seems not to be brilliant, it is brilliant!!! I've seen a lot of openings of the new R.A.G.E. on our DZ, and the openings are very fine. In all kind of views!!! The final price of the canopy is a little bit higher than the price of other canopys. But if you want to drive a porsche you've to spend a few bucks more, and if you want to flew a really damned good canopy you've to spend a few bucks more too. But it's worth any dime you invested in it!!! Blue skies and soft landings The only rings that are worth wearing, are those of my 3-ring-system!!!

Hi Trent, i´ve seen on our dz two skydiver one with a 95sqf main and one with a 85sqf main, in two very small rigs. i asked them which size their reserves are, the answer was surprising me really they´ve both a 120 sqf reserve in their rigs. the 2 skydivers have a weight about 160lbs and the reserve is the right one for them. You just need one thing: a perfectly container/harness and thats all. If you want to know where you can get such a rig just send an private message to me. DITCH >volo ergo sum<

Hi Keys, no skydiving makes more fun than #$%^. But the rest you wrote thats the trough, and that what wingy wrotes was right too. Isn´t it wingy??? For all they don´t know what i´m talking about, here the answer: i live in good old germany, and wingy was an us citizen and is here in germany for business (cool wingy) and he was on our dz in germany, and he was jumping and talking with us. there´s no border in skydiving, we all just want the same: go jump, have fun and hang out with our second family (all skydivers are one family) DITCH >volo ergo sum<

hey dave, i hope we´ll have a few nice jumps together here in germany, perhaps in duren or in fohren, perhaps on any boogie in europe this year, and when you go back to the us, there´ll be a nice thing you can do, tell me your new adress in the us and perhaps we can meet us there for a few funny jumps. do allways remember a friendship that started through skydiving, can just be finished through the dead.
