I am not sure how you quantify who is more evangelical than the next guy, but I am not sure Dawkins evangelizes more than Tebow. "The first thing I did was thank my Lord (bla, bla, bla) , then I ran down the field, then I (bla,bla,bla) again, then I congratulated my teammates,..." An interview with Dawkins or Warner would never be without its compulsory evangelization, but Tebow one ups them by doing it twice (at least). I notice that neither Warner nor Bradshaw throw one in every time they speak from the analysts booth. Probably because they recognize (or have been told) that they are being paid to talk about football. I think we have all gotten used to evangelical Christians, and some non evangelicals, mentioning their faith during interviews (kind of like Muslims who do the same thing). Tebow has moved the bar in my view towards the in your face annoying standard of the JWs. If the manifester at the DZ felt the need to trumpet their religion everytime they turned the mike on I think you would find people's reaction very similar to that of the public to Tebow. When you hard sell anything you become divisive.

Do you wander the halls of your school occasionally yelling WRONG! as your contribution to various conversations? That is pretty much what you do on here when it comes to discussions within your speciality.

The first Giants Cowboys meeting the consensus was that the Giants secondary was the second worst in the league, after the Cowboys. What a turnaround yesterday marked. Time after time Rogers had 3.5-4 seconds in the pocket and had to check down to his well covered back; there was nothing downfield to throw at. In three of the four games the better balanced team won (Baltimore being the exception). With all the passing records being smashed this year defense still wins championships. I have had 3 in ~3000 tandems. Two of them woke up before landing. I have also been on radio for 2 IADs that have passed out under canopy. One had turned onto final before he passed out. Bloody nose, but otherwise OK. Turned out he had narcolepsy issues he didn't ell us about. The other guy woke up at around 800 ft and landed without incident. He was awake just long enough to undo his breaks and fortunately was pointed up wind so he was over good alternates when he woke up.

In all fairness to Tebow, as annoying as he is, he has made it clear that he doesn't believe Jesus intercedes in the games. You gotta hand it to him, when the game is on the line he has IT in spades. Too bad he doesn't have an arm to go with it.

Well the Tebow dog and pony show is finally over. The crazy thing is that Tebow didn't lose the game, their defense did. Of course all the Tebow "miracles" were enabled by the Bronco's defense giving the offense a chance to win in the fourth quarters of the games after an anemic first three quarters.

This is a case of civil servants deliberately thwarting the wishes of their political masters. The police fought the ending of the registry and now they are fighting the destruction of the database. People who think cops defend freedom are fools. They defend order, nothing more.

That's always an issue up here during leadership races as well.

This sort of research is necessary. I mean, how else would you know that coffee enemas are ineffective against colon cancer? I certainly would have thought they were.

This isn't news. The evidence is clear that the governments of US, UK, Canada and others have repeatedly engaged in torture either directly or by proxy against their own citizens. The population has overwhelmingly issued a collective yawn. The victims are all brown and the mainstream doesn't give a shit. Sad. First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist

The second person is clearly the best person; the third is the worst. The first person may be immoral, or just amoral. The third on the other hand is arrogant enough to feel they are qualified to judge who deserves the money and are the only necessary arbiter of right and wrong. People like that are the cause of much of the evil in this world. They feel that not all people are to be treated evenly. People who are a different colour, nationality, religion, sect, political philosophy or whatever from themselves are not worthy of moral consideration. These people need to be shunned.

Killing the kid seems a good option. The alternative is to put it to the youth. I will save you, but you have to raise the kid.
