So if you and I were hunter/gatherers 1000 years ago, would you care if my tribe across the river had weak hunting skills? Or maybe just bad hunting grounds? Would you bring over some of your children's food for my children? the mods must be asleep or something :) .

Yea cd-rom enabled in setup and disabled hdd just to be sure. There is an old DOS command that will boot or something from safemode I believe but I can't find it No floppy drive ..((

1100 inspiron, registry is corrupt and windows boots but explorer (not IE) just hangs. Safemode does the same. I have a copy of XP but apparaently it's not bootable. recovery-cds.com has a boot disk but it's meant for recovery. I just want to format/reinstall a fresh OS. Obviously without paying circuit city to do it for me :) If I just buy a licensed XPor Vista will that have a format utility??

I'm reading a book on this by Edwin Black. Eugenics started catching around 1900 at a lab in Cold Spring Harbor. Rockefeller Foundation and Carnegie Inst got behind this $$. Here is the C R E E P Y part: The idea was to systematically eliminate bad human breeds (marrige prohibition/sterilize/camps/euthanization). The blond blueyed Nordic race was believed to be superior. ..... this didn't catch on so fast and the farthest they got in the U.S. were sterilization programs and stuff like that (laws that past in certain states) But then hitler got exited about this and just went into fast forward. I wonder how far we would have taken this on our own. ???

180 degree front riser requirement for "A"
loumeinhart replied to hackish's topic in Safety and Training
I also use this as a final traffic check before riser input, I almost fly my entire base leg in deep brakes (with regard to traffic). -
I load my s2 170 at 1.2 and am doing front riser 90's. The recovery arc is really short. I start my dive out of deep brakes but i cant really fly the arc because its so short.

with the Tribe in 1st place and Cavs one game from a chance at a championship it sure is exiting. Throw in some Browns offense, Brady Quinn, and some luck, we might beat Pittsburgh!

Anyone see this flick? Watched it last night with my sister and was wondering what your thoughts might be.

anyone else 'lean forward' while driving to see better up ahead?
loumeinhart replied to loumeinhart's topic in The Bonfire
So if someone is riding shotgun do they have to lean forward too? When I see a patch coming I'm gonna give the command "LEAN!" : ) -

loumeinhart replied to loumeinhart's topic in The Bonfire
Wow! Maybe I'll just buy a gps unit. Then I'd have to cock my head to hear it better. -

it makes no sense at all but I do it all the time. 80 mph and I'm leaning forward lookin for my exit. -
Hello Karenmeal, As a mtg broker my .02 is call someone local who advertises. Let them run credit, tell them what you can bring $$. Give them a monthly payment including an estimated figure for tax & insurance. PMI is not a big deal and is mostly lender-paid now anyway. Don't run your credit a lot and have a solid prequal letter when you visit a realtor. --Definately put money down if you can and a 3 or 5 yr ARM is not that bad if you're planning on selling. You'll get a better interest rate by about 1.5% --Buy verses Rent? Even if you don't make a penny when you sell, your interest is tax deductible and your credit score will soar through 15,000ft Lou
