    I've banked 16yrs since my first job and -never- been screwed. Years ago by debit card was snagged and ran up over $1000/overdrafted my checking account. Guess what.. The bank cleared me WITHOUT a police report and reset my account. I've since used other banks but always keep a bit in that account because they did me right. Maybe you should switch to the banks that I've used . Oh yea, like Billvon said, if you don't like banks...don't use them!! Don't want a mortgage for $175,000? Then simply save the money. Or do like I did and buy an awesome house for $3,500 and be done with it. Chicks will still bang you in a 3500 house trust me. It's all in the paint /candles
