    Sorry we didn't make it. The weather just would not allow us to fly down there. Right now we are in Ft Wayne, watching mother nature's light show from the hotel room.... We had a SUPER time at our fly in yesterday and I was really looking forward to meeting all of you from dz.com.... maybe in Rantoul...

    I second that. I love my Sony Vaio. I'm using it right now! I don't have wireless, though. I have cable. same here. bought my sony vaio in november. not long after, my pc died. i just started using my laptop all the time. i haven't got a printer hooked up to it, that is the one thing i miss. i DID BUY a new pc in february. it sat in the boxes until last weekend when my daughter set it up in her room. we connected her to mine via a wireless set up. ok computer whiz's ... when i disconnect my laptop (IE the WIRED computer) she will basically be disconnected from the internet, right? i haven't figured out how to run her pc in the other room, from the wireless box, if it isn't connect to my "wired computer" IS there a way??? sorry for crashing the thread with a question thanks for any advice

    found out today that his cancer is a stage 3-4. surgery tomorrow.. † that the lymph node are not affected as the doctors suspect. Men..... !!! Take care of yourselves. C ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

    over weight? not really. he's a out of town salesman i see only 2 times a year. the few times i have seen him, his weight seems average. i will try to get some specifics. i just found out and i know the surgery was soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

    wow, ironic that you post this. a salesman for the company i work for is having surgery... for breast cancer. i just heard about it yesterday and don't have any details. i have heard before that men can get breast cancer, just never knew a real case of it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

    Brandon, I'm approaching the 3 yr anniversary of my first solo flight. You willl NEVER forget it. Every time I read about someone else's ... My whole experience comes back to me. All I have is the memory of that EARLY June morning. No cut shirt, no pics...But I can still see and hear my instructor getting out and telling me to take care of his headset. CONGRATULATIONS!!! It only gets better now. Actually, I got a call from a friend yesterday, who flew his first solo (second actually...long story) Must have been a good day for Firsts!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit
