    Was it? I doubt you'd feel that way if you were raising disabled babies, Slappie. They have to deal with enough shit that life decided was theirs to take. Add 'physical beauty' as a requirement for society and I'm just glad that they're around 'cruel' kids and not 'mature' adults... But of course maybe I am taking it too seriously. Your perspective changes after loving these unique kids for 7 years. I'm sure you wouldn't be a jerk to my kids in person, or in reference to them specifically...but then, how would you know they're my kids?
