My comments on Japan were related to recent events in Iraq and Cheney's largest reason for traveling. I did not compare Korean and Japanese psyches. At least the Japanese have a sense of humor. No human regularly consuming KimChi can maintain a sense of humor. Sorry if I don't put too much stock in the 'news' coming out of North Korea. Their propaganda is more out there than anything the Soviets ever published. He's been playing the "I have nukes, bribe me into peace" card for so long it's gotten old. There is no news there. Well, considering that to process someone after an arrest usually takes the better part of a day, sometimes more, I'd say a little scare for an hour may help her. I'm getting the impression the kid is one of those growing up with no respect for anything, the law, other people, or herself. I wish scare tactics worked, but most studies have shown they only affect the kid for at the longest a month, then their environment takes over again. In the UK (London and other places) they don't even investigate serious crimes unless they look like they will be easily solved. By serious I mean everything up to but not including murder.
