my goal at rantoul is to learn hd. I plan to jump roughly 20 times if solo. Do you guys think it would be better to make 5 coach jumps with some of the people from the freefly training center instead? or do you think it will be hard to find someone that would be willing to give me coach jumps just for their slot? thanks for your input. yeah I was afraid that was going to be the answer. I just didn't want to spend the money for a new camera helmet. guess I'll see if I can sell my gunner. thanks!

I'll second Dusty Smith...he thought me how to sit while I was out in Eloy. TJ came out to our dz a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't have a chance to jump with him because we got rained out. but what he thought me on the ground helped a ton! he's a really nice person and truely cares about teaching others.

I've been looking too skybob. to be honest watching Rook, Olav, or Blincoe doesn't help me at all because they make it look so easy. other than coach jumps I've been trying to watch other peoples coach jumps http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php if you find anything better let me know take care

I hate to post this on my own thread because it's not a coach jump, but it's the first ff vid I ever seen and a week after I did I bought a plane ticket and went out to eloy to learn...Dusty took me hd and now I'm hooked. I promise I'll post my own vid one of these days :) anyway go to http://thing.nl/ click videos and then easter boogie. I think it's the two people orbiting at the beginning that got me. I love the song if any of you know what it is let me know. thanks for all the vids I've learned a lot from them (much more than pro vids) and I've enjoyed watching them. keep them coming

did you check out the extras? there's one part (20mins into the rushes selection) where he's under the circle flying up towards the group on his back and comes really close to hitting on of them belly to belly...just messing with them. (sorry that's the best I could explain it) is it the big suit that allows him to move like that or is it just to slow his speed down? I would think it would be harder to make drastic moves that quickly in a big suit.

alright. they couldn't get Millenium 2 and after hearing your comments I'm glad they couldn't. I got crosswind and evolution. evolution was great, but only 30mins. there was this part where they are base jumping off an antenna. this guys goes off doesn't pull and they show him hit the ground. I jumped off my couch in disgust...couldn't believe that they would have the disrespect to show something like that. I replayed it and noticed that it was a dummy...apparently I wasn't paying enough attention the first time. then I laughed and was relieved. lots of sick footage with stuff I only dream about. crosswind (dvd) was a great compilation of all the different disciplines. there is this chapter named the flight of the dolphin...dude, that just aint right! that guy has wings or something! he's flying hd in and out of a formation dive...unreal I’d highly recommend both of them. thanks for all the advise.

is that why my inner thighs were sore and raw in eloy when I was making all those jumps? I was wearing jeans and thought that was the reason.

well I'm pretty stuck on a G3. I can deal without the comfort for the extra $200-300. I haven't jumped a rig with the rings so I don't know what I'm missing. I did think about the resell value Jimbo and that was the only thing that made me consider it. as for the turn around time...it's 14 degrees here now and will be cold for the next two months, so unfortunately I have the time.

well after all my fussing over what to do with my old racer I think I've decided to get a new G3. I looked for a used one that will fit and can't find one. so, I think I'm gonna buy a new one. I'm going to get it from Bonnie at gravitygear.com...she's supper nice. of course I want to spend as little as possible, but on the same hand want it to be as safe as possible. is there anything that you guys would recommend before I order it? I'm not going to get the hip & chest rings in interest of money. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks
